An Entertaining Look at “World of Color” Construction

posted on January 18th, 2010 by Valarie Sukovaty, Disneyland Public Relations

The World of Color construction is well under way at Disney’s California Adventure park. Guests are in for a real treat when the spectacular nighttime water show debuts later this year. In the meantime, take a look at this video. The construction and testing are surprisingly entertaining. The platform you see is longer than a football field and it’s covered with more than 1,200 fountains. The idea for this show began in 2004. That’s six years ago! We’re in the home stretch!

Check the Disney Parks Blog later this week for more “World of Color” updates from Heather Hust Rivera and Steve Davison.

Great video.

Does anyone know the name of the song used in the video (sounds a little like Franz Ferdinand)?

Oh My God. I can’t wait to see this in person. This will certainly blow anything Disney has ever done right out of the water. (Pardon the pun)

Pat from CA on January 19th, 2010 at 12:57 pm

It will work.
