Captain EO Pin Coming

Like many of the Disney fans who were at Disneyland Park on February 23, I am very excited to have Captain EO return to Tomorrowland. How I wish I could have been there for the re-opening (why hasn’t teleportation been invented yet?). I do, however, have something exciting to share. Julie Young, developer for open edition pins, just received artwork for a Captain EO pin that I thought you would like to see.

  • Love this pin!!! Can’t wait to purchase for myself and for my friends living in Germany!! They are huge MJ fans!!! I was at Disneyland last weekend and purchased Captain EO t-shirts for them!! They are anxiously waiting for their package to arrive!!!
    I would like to see more EO merchandise!! I think what’s available is too limited!! One of the team members at the Star Trader store said they were going to get the original rainbow CEO t-shirt!!! Is this true??? If it is, you can believe I will be making a few purchases!!! Absolutely loved that shirt!! Bought the original back in the 80’s!!! Wore it to death!!!! Definitely need a new one!!! (smile)

  • I still have my original holographic button pin! I wish Captain EO would show at WDW, though.

  • #2 – Nice to see that there will be a pin coming soon! When we were at DL a week ago Sunday, I asked about a pin and they said the only thing available was the button, so I bought that.

    Any chance they’ll be releasing or re-releasing the Fuzzball plush?

      I recall that Fuzzball plush too! I spoke with Denise Edelmaier, product developer for dolls and plush. She looked into it but at this time we do not have plans to release any Captain EO related plush. So it is always something we could consider for the future.
