Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
Once Upon A Time…as every good story starts, the Disneyland Resort opened its doors to reveal a magical boutique where every little girl’s dream of becoming a Disney princess can come true.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique opened April 17, 2009, and in the past year, many magical moments have occurred in this enchanting location that’s nestled inside the corridors of Sleeping Beauty Castle. On a walk through Fantasyland one day, I had the chance to meet up with Store Operations Complex Manager, Stacey Gentz, who shared some of the stories from our cast and guests.

Every now and then, it’s so nice to hear our guests say that no matter the age, it made them feel like a princess, says one of Fairy Godmothers-in-Training, who has been on hand since the opening. It’s why we’re here, and it’s what we do, every day, we create magical memories for our guests during their stay.

Another cast member recalls, “Today when giving a Princess her big reveal, she was so happy that she shouted ‘I guess dreams really can come true.'”

Inside these doors, a guest can say three magical words — “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo” — and in an instant, the magic that we all hope to create actually happens. “We give them the royal treatment,” Gentz says, “from hair and make-up to costumes and accessories. If you’re wondering whether it’s worth it… all you have to do is see the smile on their faces. That alone is worth a thousand words.”

The magic of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique isn’t just here in California. For those of you visiting other parks around the world, there are Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutiques at Walt Disney World (inside Cinderella’s Castle and in Downtown Disney at World of Disney store) and at Tokyo Disneyland.

How can you book a reservation? Call 714-781-STYLE (714-781-7895). Transformations start at $44.95, plus tax. We can transform Princesses from age three and up. For details on the different levels of packages visit ArtofDisneyParks.com. And, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique isn’t just for girls. The location at the Disneyland Resort currently offers a “Cool Knight” package for all of our noble young gentlemen.

Congratulations Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on a year of making magic come to life!

  • I took my daughter there in november for her 4th birthday. BEST DAY EVER! She was so excited to get her hair, makeup and nails done. She was thrilled at how much attention she was getting. Someone doing her hair and makeup, another person doing her nails. She picked out her own crown, jewels, ring, and had a photographer taking pictures from the moment she sat down till the end. She was thrilled at how beautiful she looked after her Royal treatment. The experience is worth the money spent there. I recorded every minute of it so that she can always remember the happiest birthday she ever had. Something my daughter will remember for a lifetime. I will never forget the look on my daughters face. Priceless!

  • I really wanted to go to the Boutique (and I’m 16 years old…lol!) but I was too nervous to ask!
Nonetheless, last year, my WDW sweet sixteen was, in a word, AMAZING. <3

  • We will be going for our 1st family trip in September. Just my husband, my 6 yr old daughter & Myself. Someone advised that we could bring her of of her new dresses that we have bought at home.
Any other suggestions ? My daughter is all about the girly things in life 🙂

  • My daughter went opening day and has been back 3 times since. They do a great job with the kids that go in for a transformation.

  • I took my daughter last May. She hates having her hair brushed, but she sat very patiently with the fairy godmother-in-training and even smiled for pictures. After she was done, we met a toddler girl who thought my daughter was Jasmine! It was the perfect way to wrap up our trip.

  • Best name of a Disneyland store, EVER!

  • I got a princess makeover for my 33rd birthday. It helped make it one of my most memorable birthdays ever. The fairy Godmothers-in-training did a great job of making me a princess for the day! =)

  • My two daughters, ages 10 and 8, got their princess makeovers last November at Disneyland. They both loved it and we all had a blast! The younger one totally got into the transformation the moment she sat in the chair. It was a spur of the moment splurge made possible by my Disney Reward Dollars and was more than worth it! Truly, magical memories were made that morning. The highlight of our trip!

  • My daughter Sadie was actually THE VERY FIRST VISITOR to the boutique on opening day! She walked in that morning, the very first one there, to amazement and awe. It was a great experience and one we will always remember!

  • My daughter really enjoyed herself. I will treasure the way she looked at me after her session..she was so happy that those memories will be captured in my heart always. 🙂

  • I had such a blast getting *my* hair done at the boutique, and i was 24 at the time!! – my best friend and i had a gift card from disney travel so we figured it was a good thing to spend it on, since it seems so steep for 50 dollars each to come out of our pockets but i’m so glad we got to do it! I think the best part is i can always remember the experience, whereas i have a hard time remembering things from when i was young so i love that I got to participate in it as well 🙂

  • I would love to write about the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on my beauty blog. Would I be able to talk to anyone about this?

    • Sounds great, Sheila. I found this press release on disneylandnews.com: http://bit.ly/9mh6uN

      Hopefully, that will help.

  • Took my daughter here for her 6th birthday last May. She had a great time and looked just like a Princess. Gave her something extra special to remember her special day!

  • Can’t wait to see my daughters face when we go in August, this will be our very first Disney trip ever. I am a single mom and she is my only child so this is going to be something special. August isn’t coming fast enough, can’t wait. 🙂
