I visited Fawn’s Butterfly House at Pixie Hollow yesterday afternoon, one of the terrific experiential venues at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. It is a magical place, and guests were clicking away like mad, myself included, capturing beautiful photos of a wide variety of butterflies…I thought I would share a couple of images from that visit. If you look closely, you can see pollen falling from the proboscis of a Zebra Longwing. And I am just amazed at the dramatic markings of a Queen as it sips nectar.

I highly recommend this fantastic exhibit for all nature lovers…

This Butterfly display was not there the last time we went to the flower show. The pictures are just beautiful.

We were there last week and took some beautiful pictures of the butterflies as well. However, this time we did not see a guide to the types of butterflies as we have seen before. Did we miss them? If they don’t have them this year it should be a must for all future butterfly gardens. The kids really love identifying each one.
