Paul – Do you have any fireworks pictures you could share? I always love the fireworks at Disneyland, but they are so hard to take pictures of. I got really lucky and got a great shot of the 4th of July fireworks a few weeks ago. Hoping you might have some too that we could check out.
Thanks for the reply Paul! The Columbia has always been a favorite of mine, and it truly is a Disneyland original. As I fire up the old memory banks, they stopped using the nautical flags in the rigging during the daytime operation around 1998-99, so the photo must be before ’99 or so.

I love the Sailing Ship Columbia! What year did you take this picture Paul? They haven’t used the nautical flags up in the rigging in years and years, so this picture must be quite old now.
Thor, You’re correct – this photo was taken before 2004. I don’t know the exact year, but I do know that the photo was captured on film and scanned some time before 2004.
