What’s Happening at Disney California Adventure Park This Summer

posted on July 7th, 2010 by Heather Hust Rivera, Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, The Walt Disney Company

In January, we began sharing a series of videos (with the help of our host, Eddie) to document all the exciting changes coming to Disney California Adventure park.

Today’s video focuses on the new attractions and shows that are available at Disney California Adventure park this summer. “World of Color” and Silly Symphony Swings are now open, and we’re also sharing video of the nighttime party Glow Fest and Lotso, a “Toy Story 3” character now appearing in Disney’s Pixar Play Parade.

If you’re looking for more details about what’s coming to Disney California Adventure park, check out www.DisneysCaliforniaAdventure.com or visit the Blue Sky Cellar in the park.

Things sure are changing quickly at Disney California Adventure! This summer especially, things seem to be even more fun and more sparkling than usual around Anaheim. I like these little videos that Eddie does, but I’d also like to get an iron and a shot of starch onto Eddie’s shirt collar before his next video.

Why don’t they ever talk about Star Tours II? that should of been in the video.

We celebrated the 4th of July at California Disney and Disney Resort…and went into the Blue Cellar for the 1st time since we got our passes in April. That is a really neat little place. Cars Land looks fantastic! And The Little Mermaid ride looks amazing. Very friendly and informative Disney Partners in there. Everyone should check it out ! Thanks again Heather !

I’m looking forward to the changes coming up at DCA. World of Color is a terrific experience. Everything from the images to the music. It’s simply wonderful. By the way, where else at the park can I buy the potato salad that comes with the WOC American picnic meal?

Hey, kudos for finally getting these pages viewable on the iPhone! I’ve been waiting for this fruition of the Disney/Pixar marriage like an impatient grandmother-to-be.

How is “The Band Concert” one of Walt Disney’s first cartoons? Have the Alice Comedies, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, the black and white Mickey Mouse cartoons, the black and white Silly Symphonies and the first color Silly Symphonies being disowned?
