Dooney & Bourke Princess Collection

Disney Parks and Dooney & Bourke are at it again. I’m excited to finally be able to share with you our newest co-branded collection created exclusively for Disney Parks. The new design, inspired by Dooney & Bourke’s Pop Novelty Collection, celebrates the ever-popular Disney Princess.

The whimsical pattern includes cameos of Disney’s beloved royalty: Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Belle. The print also features iconic design elements such as flowers, crowns, and castles as well as items associated with each princess’ animated movie. The artwork was created by Disney Design Group artists Darren Wilson and Donna Kozatek.

The limited edition Princess Collection will have five handbag styles to choose from: Tote, Bucket, Satchel, and a Wristlet in either black or white versions of the Pop Princess pattern. Fashionistas will have the first opportunity to purchase The Pop Princess Collection exclusively online at before it hits our Disney Parks.

If you don’t have the chance to get it online, then be sure to keep an eye out at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts where the Pop Princess collection will launch in select merchandise shops such as Tren-D and Disney Vault 28 later this August.

Melissa on August 9th, 2010 at 10:17 am

Why is Ariel always left out?

Amber on August 9th, 2010 at 11:07 am

I love them all!!!!!!!!!

Louise on August 9th, 2010 at 11:07 am

I’m with Melissa. Ariel is one of the most popular princess’ and should be included!

Ruth O on August 9th, 2010 at 11:08 am

I already have a couple of the wonderful totes. What I’m waiting for is the backpack version. Are there any plans for a Disney/D&B backpack?

I love these bags, the big black one for me and the smaller black one for my daughter Arial. Last time I had a Dooney was 16 years ago when I was first dating my now husband, he bought me one and my daughter uses it for play. Officially overdue! lol

Harvey’s Seatbelt Bags are supposed to come out with a new line of Disney bags. I can’t wait to see those. I get so many compliments on them!

I’m hoping that Disney will team up with Lesportsac some day.

Lauren on August 9th, 2010 at 5:56 pm

I agree with the other people who commented on Ariel not being included in the design of these Dooney bags. Ariel is one of the most popular princesses with little girls and adults like me and yet she is almost always left out of any type of “princess” merchandise. I was really excited for the next Disney Dooney release, and now I am just disappointed. I can only hope that this message will reach the people who design these Disney Dooney and Bourke bags and Ariel will be included in some handbag design in the future.

Christina on August 9th, 2010 at 7:06 pm

Oh No, where’s Ariel??? :(
She’s my favorite princess!

Maria on August 9th, 2010 at 7:29 pm

Why are the majority of the bags hard plastic covered fabric? How about leather or other fabrics? I was at WDW in May and had the cash to buy the Sketch large handbag until I realized it was hard plastic. Don’t like the colors on the Minnie Satchel, either, although it is fabric. More of these styles, please, just lose the plastic covering!

Arielle from NC on August 9th, 2010 at 9:25 pm

So sad to see Ariel’s not included!! Considering we share the same name, she is my favorite!

Shannon on August 10th, 2010 at 10:36 am

Just in time for my Birthday today! Yes, please!!!

Joan from NJ on August 12th, 2010 at 11:31 am

Jasmine is the one princess that is left out of EVERYTHING! And to those who don’t like the hard plastic on the purse… that’s Dooney & Bourke’s signature design feature… not just on the Dinsey themed bags.

Kelly from GA on August 12th, 2010 at 6:10 pm

I love these. I am a big Snow White fan so it will make a perfect addition to my collection. I already have two of the Disney Dooney & Bourke. I can’t wait to get one when I go to the Halloween Party this year. I was wondering if they have the Satchel in the black. I have seen it online as white but no black.

Sharon on August 12th, 2010 at 9:51 pm

Jasmine is my fav and is ALWAYS left out! :(
