Do they do this in CA as well? That would be great! I would so drive 6 hours for that. I am so jealous!

Yeah, you definitely need to do one of these in California—lots of deep pockets out here!

So only Passholders and DVC member can go to this sale? Is there anything on-line too or is it only at DTD?

Dara Trujillo on November 1st, 2010 at 3:14 pm

Hi Amy – The Benefit Sale is open to all Guests, not just Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members. There is not an online offering, it is just at Downtown Disney. But if you happen to be a Guest staying at one of our Walt Disney World Resorts on November 6, we will be offering early bus transportation from your resort to Downtown Disney the morning of the sale beginning at approximately 4:45am.

Oh man!!! We just got back from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village. My husband bought me the newest Dooney & Bourke Mickey bag and it’ll be 40% off this Saturday! Is this going to be an annual thing? If so, can we get possible dates for next year so I can plan our vacation accordingly! My husband is thinking of flying in for this sale on Friday nite and leaving Sunday morning! Thanks, any info for future sales would be much appreciated!

Exactly what stores are participating or are they all (in dtd)? Do you have a list of stores? Also, when it says “selected” what does that mean? I am trying to decide if it is worth the drive…thanks!

So many of our stores at Downtown Disney are participating in The Benefit Sale! Here’s a quick list of just some that will be open for The Benefit Sale: World of Disney, Once Upon A Toy, Disney Days of Christmas, Tren-D, Art of Disney, Pooh’s Corner, D-Street, Disney Quest Emporium, Mickey’s Groove, Disney Pin Traders, Goofy’s Candy Company, and so many more!

It says World of Disney but is that all World of Disney stores, like the one here in California or just the one in Florida?

Dara Trujillo on November 2nd, 2010 at 6:09 pm

The Benefit Sale is only taking place in Downtown Disney at Walt Disney World Resort.

My husband and I are both passholders. Do we need 2 vouchers to shop on Saturday?

Dara Trujillo on November 4th, 2010 at 9:28 am

Hi Tina! Yes, you and your husband will need two vouchers to shop on Saturday morning. See you there!

I have my voucher, but where in Downtown Disney do we get the wristbands? Thanks.

Dana from FL on November 5th, 2010 at 11:05 am

We decided to go last minute, and I cannot see anywhere that we can buy the vouchers online. Is there a limited amount of vouchers that will be handed out? We do not want to drive the 3 hours to get there to be turned away, and want to make sure we can buy our voucher when we get there.

What about the Holiday Shopping Magic at World of Disney Store in California for D23 members? Will that be open only to D23 members, or will that eventually be open to passholders and general public?
