The internet has changed the way we communicate in ways in we never imagined. For girl like me, who remembers using a typewriter and white-out, I am amazed by technology and how it brings people together.
The members of the Walt Disney World Moms Panel help people from all of the world plan vacations to Disney Parks. The panelists are so passionate and knowledgeable and they do their best to help make every guest’s vacation magical. Often, visitors to the website will ask a panelist for their advice and over time, an online relationship begins. Some guests have their favorite “mom” and ask that mom many questions on planning their vacation down to the tiniest detail.
I heard about one such relationship from a soon-to-be-bride who was planning her wedding at Walt Disney World Resort. She had asked Disney Dad Doug a question and before she knew it, they were feverishly communicating through the website about her wedding.
I’m quite positive that Doug never imagined that he would one day be a wedding planner, but that’s just what he was for this bride! I decided that the two of them should meet the weekend of her wedding. This is their story.

That is so sweet. I wish I could have gotten married at Disney. They always seem to go above and beyond the call of duty. Maybe someday my daughter will consider it!

What a heart-warming story! I absolutely LOVE the relationships I have been able to build by using the Moms Panel to answer my questions!
I’ve been married for nearly 18 years but this video makes me want to plan a renewal for our 20th! What a fabulous memory you folks at Disney have given this bride! Just fabulous!
