Flower Power Concert Series

Before jumping into the weekend, we have a quick update for everyone looking forward to hearing some fun live music during this year’s Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the festival, you’ll be able to enjoy music from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s during the Flower Power Concert Series at the America Gardens Theatre. And today, we can share the latest lineup of performers:

  • 3/4-6 Jose Feliciano (Light My Fire)
  • 3/11-13 The Guess Who (American Woman)
  • 3/18-20 Chubby Checker and the Wildcats (The Twist)
  • 3/25-27 Melissa Manchester (Don’t Cry Out Loud)
  • 4/1-3 Starship starring Mickey Thomas (We Built this City)
  • 4/8-10 Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis Jr. (You Don’t Have to be a Star (to be in My Show)
  • 4/15-17 Juice Newton (Queen of Hearts)
  • 4/22-24 Ricky Nelson Remembered featuring The Nelsons (Poor Little Fool)

  • 5/6-8 Davy Jones (I’m a Believer)

Comments

  • It would be nice to have more than just the concert lineup and also have the full schedule of events since the festival is a month away now. Makes it hard to plan a trip around the festival events — especially since dining reservations are so much farther out.

  • I hope they bring that to Disneyland in Anaheim. How FUN it would be to see and hear these acts from the 60’s 70’s & 80’s !
Please consider bringing it to California

  • We always enjoy the concerts. Looks like a great line-up! For a variety of reasons, we will not be at the International Flower and Garden Festival this year. However, I negotiated for extra days at the International Food and Wine Festival this fall. Looking forward with excitement to the fall.

  • The Flower Power concerts are always great fun! We really wish they hadn’t been taken off the schedule the rest of the week. We usually stay about 10 nights, and could see 3–somtimes 4 different acts. Our evening dining plans would be scheduled accordingly. Now, with so few acts that chances are we have seen one last year, Epcot gets a much lower percentage of our vacation dollar. Looking forward to seeing Marylin McCoo for the first time this year!!

  • I adore the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. We have visited may years during March. We hope to make it again this year.

Knowing our visit could coincide with a favorite band makes it all the more enticing. Our wedding song is from Starship. Nothing’s gonna stop us now; a song title, a wedding song, a love story and a rally cry to visit the magic again.
