Guests Can Explore Europe this Summer with Incredible Itineraries Aboard the Disney Magic

Is traveling through Europe on your bucket list? I’ve had the opportunity to sail the Disney Cruise Line European voyages in 2007 and 2010, and I can tell you that visiting Europe’s unique destinations is one of the most enriching experiences I’ve ever embarked on.

In less than three months, we’re heading across the Atlantic Ocean for another summer season in Europe – sailing seven-, 10- and 11-night cruises aboard the Disney Magic.

What’s the best part of a European vacation with Disney Cruise Line? You have the opportunity to share the trip of a lifetime with your family or friends – seeing the spectacular sights and exploring the rich cultures in a collection of captivating cities. And, each evening you return to the comfort, convenience and entertainment that the Disney Magic provides.

During these incredible itineraries, we’ll visit popular ports in Spain, France and Italy. First, the Disney Magic will depart from Barcelona where you can browse in unique boutiques, relax at charming cafés, watch entertaining street performers and marvel at the brilliant structures designed by Antoni Gaudí.

In Barcelona, guests can visit landmarks like the famous Gaudí church, Basilica de la Sagrada Família.

In Rome, you can visit Vatican City or stroll through the ancient architectural wonder – the Colosseum.

Guests sailing on Europe itineraries can visit the Colosseum in Rome.

You’ll also fall in love with Florence, Pisa and Naples – as you can indulge in the mouth-watering cuisine and discover the breathtaking beauty of Italy.

In Summer 2011, guests will visit charming cities in Italy, such as Naples.

The French Riviera offers an opportunity to soak up the sun in Nice, or discover favorite destinations of the rich and famous in Monte Carlo and Monaco.

The Disney Magic basks in the bay of Villefranche, France.

Our longer itineraries also include visits to the island nation of Malta, the blissful beaches of Palermo in Italy and Ajaccio, Corsica, an island oasis off the southern coast of France.

If you’re thinking of taking a Disney cruise to Europe – this is the year to do it. In 2011, our sail dates range from May 28 to September 3 and we hope to see you onboard. If you’d like more information about these upcoming itineraries, visit disneycruise.com.
