Hi everyone…members of the Walt Disney World Moms Panel have lots to share and each panelist is unique in his or her own amazing way.
Here’s some fun advice from Disney Mom Kathie F. of South Carolina.
- Make a reservation for an out-of-this world dining experience: Dine with the dinosaurs at T-REX Café or pretend to be hitchhikers at the Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater Restaurant!
- Become young Padawans in training and indulge your own inner movie geekness at Star Wars Weekends at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
- Let your kids stay up way past bedtime to see fireworks like you’ve never seen them before! Do that AND stay for just one more ride on Peter Pan’s Flight!
- Ahoy there! Get “in character” and bring your favorite swashbucklers to the Pirates League. Turn your handsome rogue or your beautiful princess into an authentic pirate. Oh, and your kids can get make-overs too!
- Ride Crush ‘n’ Gusher. You know you want to.

Sci-Fi diner is wonderful! I agree 100%!!
We go every time we are at Disney World and love it more each time we are there. Highly recommend. Lots of fun.

Plan a pirate adventure at the Caribbean or Port Orleans resorts (I think a couple of other resorts do this also) – My two boys LOVED this last time we were there!

We loved the Sci-Fi Diner- our family(my husband,my son,15, my daughter,13, and myself!) is lucky enough to visit Disneyworld each spring, and we dined there for the first time last April! So much fun, and the food was delicious, too! Definitely a must-do! BTW – if you visit Typhoon Lagoon and DON’T do Crush ‘n Gusher, you will regret it! It is so great – you will laugh/scream for the entire ride, but never too scary, and after you finish, you will jump back in-line for more!

I have done all of these and they are good. The Pirates league should be moved to #1 though, it’s AWSOME!! And add ride splash Mountain during the parade…over and over again…And if you have a little princess, the best is Askershus castle in Norway for LUNCH (all the best princesses are there in their gowns and the food is great for all). If you want to be a really cool mom, run and get fast passes for rides while your kids are on something else and plan their days out so they dont have to wait.

This will be my wife, and two sons 3, 4 first time at disney. We plan on visiting animal kingdom only this trip. We will also be spending sometime in downtown disney. Any suggestions on things we must see or do?
