Take a Tilt-Shift Trip to Disneyland Paris

posted on March 16th, 2011 by Jennifer Fickley-Baker, Social Media Manager

Today marks the ninth anniversary of Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris in Marne-la-Vallée, France. And what better way to celebrate than to share a day at the park with all of our Disney Parks Blog readers?

Pack your bags and get ready to enjoy a whirlwind trip via our new tilt-shift video, “A Magical Day at Disneyland Paris,” and see just about everything Walt Disney Studios Park and Disneyland Park has to offer.

Tilt-shift videos like these use different photo angles, focus settings and color saturation adjustments to make the subject of a photo appear miniature.

It took more than seven months and 4,000 photographs to produce this 2:38-minute clip.

I just love your Tilt-shift videos. They give a wonderful enchanting view of your parks. I am intrigued by the Slinky Dog ride. I have never been to Disneyland Paris before, but after seeing this video, I just might have to put it on my bucket list :).

Great Video! Did I happen to see the cars from the old Stars Motorcade Parade from Disney Hollywood Studios? I loved that Parade and it was nice to see them again!

I really enjoy these tilt shift videos and would love to see one from Disneyland and Disney California Adventure! I think World of Color and Fantasmic would be great subject matter for this technique. Please keep them coming!

Very nice! I like the moves added to some of the shots. Was a tilt-shift lens used or was the effect added in Photoshop? Again, nice job. :)

This is my favorite of all of the tilt-shift videos. I agree with Gina, we need one from Disneyland! I think what makes this one so great is the bright and vivid colors.

Love the sound effects added in, and the music selection was very cute. Would also love to see one for Disneyland!

These are great and a wonderful tribute to Walt as he loved miniature models of all sorts. I imagine that he would have loved these videos as well.

Liza- Yes, I was excited to see footage of Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin, too. That’s one of three attractions in the Toy Story Playland area of The Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris. The other two are the RC Racer and Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop. Has anyone experienced these?

I just love your Tilt-shift videos. They give a wonderful enchanting view of your parks. I am intrigued by the Slinky Dog ride. I have never been to Disneyland Paris before, but after seeing this video, I just might have to go to my local county fair for the same experience!

thank you for making this video, it makes me really happy that you have finally featured ”my” park, as I have been there 10 times and still loving it! sadly the Toy Story Playland wasn’t open yet when me and my parents went last year, and sadly I wont be able to experience it next year as I will be busy taking pictures in Disney World in Florida! that will be my second visit to Florida and I’m really exited!

I went to this park for my second visit last winter and I loved it. The Toy Story area is amazing and the RC Racer ride was by far the best in there. I also love Crushes Coaster which is only really quickly shown on this. Seeing this has made me want to go back again. Doing my third Disney park in 2 years though soon! Eeek excited!

I visited Disneyland Paris for the first time in November and loved it! I live in Alaska, but was vacationing in Paris for a week. My two favorite attractions at these parks was ‘Crush’s Coaster’ and ‘Phantom Manor’. I will defintely visit again on my next trip to France!!

These tilt-shift videos are AWESOME! And I think this particular video is the best one yet!! I too would love to see one of Disneyland, since that’s where all my first Disney memories came from growing up. :)

If only tilt-shift was used back in Walt’s day. Seeing a video from the early days of Disneyland Park would rock!

it’s very exciting for me to see Disneyland Paris on this blog! I think it has the most beautyful of the Magic Kingdoms and it’s Sleeping Beauty Castle is really spectacular. I hope some day I’ll visit America to visit the American parks.

I love how tilt shift video makes everything look like a toy play set. I loved seeing the Slinky Dog ride. I have been to Disneyland Paris but they didn’t have that one at the time. It looks like fun! Thanks for the great video!
