Avast me hearties! Ye be wanting to join Captain Jack Sparrow’s crew? Pirate parrot Captain Squawk is recruiting new buccaneers now at “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides – Sneak Peek” at Disneyland park.

As Guests wait to board the Queen Anne’s Revenge, they may get the chance to discuss the finer points of pirating with Captain Squawk. He also teaches some new recruits how to do the pirate’s sign (cross your arms below your head like crossbones, then scowl) and how to properly shout “YO HO!”

But aye, should the Queen Anne’s Revenge start to sink, don’t follow Captain Squawk into his ship. “…It be a wee bit small.” Harrr!

See Captain Squawk and his shipmates at “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides – Sneak Peek,” Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights through May 30 at Disneyland park.

  • Can Captian Squawk be relocated after the SNEAK PEAK to be near/at the entrance of Pirates or he could be on Tom Saywer’s Island. He is such a great charature, all the line que charatures are great they should be reused after the May 20 date

  • So I guess Walt Disney World really is going to miss out on the sneak peak, huh?

  • I love Captain Squawks, and I love Disney’s living character initiative!

Imagineers, please keep creating new living character experiences, they are awesome!

Also, I have to say that I am glad that the Pirates 3D sneak peek has been extended until the end of May.

  • This is the same bird that was in front of Pirates in Magic Kingdom for many years then moved to the World of Disney store at Downtown Disney in Fl is it not?
