The New ‘Mickey’s Soundsational Parade’ Officially Starts Today at Disneyland Park

Starting today, guests can jam with Mickey Mouse as he leads “Mickey’s Soundsational Parade” down Main Street, U.S.A, at Disneyland park. The new parade runs daily and includes a syncopated drum line, nine whimsical floats and an array of musicians and favorite Disney characters. We give you a front row seat in the video below. Enjoy!

(“Mickey’s Soundsational Parade” is part of “Disney Soundsational Summer,” an exciting summer of offerings that kicks off June 3 and includes the premiere of The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure at Disney California Adventure park, the debut of “Star Tours – The Adventures Continue” at Disneyland park and an unveiling of new enhancements to the Disneyland Hotel.)

  • I was at Disneyland yesterday and the only part I got to see from the parade so far was the end …. Peter Pan and TinkerBell …… and Mary Poppins. Just seeing these two at the end and to see and hear the music of Disney classics brought back those feelings of when I was a kid (I’m in my late 30’s) I can’t wait to see the entire parade! And just to put it out there ….. when It’s time for the Electrical Parade to come back to California … please, please, please bring it back to Disneyland and not DCA.

  • My wife, little boy and I watched the full video on Youtube and my little boy rocked out to it. My wife and I had huge smiles the moment we heard the drumline and Mickey Mouse club march it is SO COOL! What a classic Disney parade. We cannot wait to see it live.

  • This is my review of the parade. I was there with my parents and big sis on friday at the 630. I’m glad to have a parade that’s colorful, has disney music from the classic disney movies (especially since my sis and I grew up with most movies included in this parade were[i’m 14 and she’s 23]), and has well designed floats. These floats are more open (not cramped like Celebrate!), more brightly colored, and have some fun moving elements (i like the moving facial parts on mickeys “paper-cutout” head float, and i also like that mickeys talking and blinking head was used. The theme music was also better since it’s unique to the parade. This is my review of the parade.

  • Does this parade end at the end of summer, or will it continue on into the fall and beyond? We sure hope we can see it in September when we visit!

  • Brian–
I’m guessing that it was considered a “soft opening” performance. “officially” the parade debuted on the 27th.
