Once again, Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has been awarded the coveted AAA Five-Diamond Award, the highest AAA honor for a restaurant. This is the 11th year (first awarded in 2000), and V&A’s is the only restaurant in Central Florida and one of only three in Florida, along with L’Escalier and The Restaurant at the Four Seasons, both in Palm Beach. Only 55 restaurants made the 2011 list, including the U.S., Canada and Mexico.

At the helm of Victoria & Albert’s are manager and sommelier Israel Perez, Chef Scott Hunnel and Master Pastry Chef Erich Herbitschek. The ultimate in fine dining, the menu features Modern American cuisine with products sourced around the world, with wine pairing offered with each course. Impeccable service creates a gracious dining experience.

“It’s an honor to be recognized for the work that the entire team does,” said Chef Scott Hunnel. “It’s all about the consistency of what we try to do, and the continuous evolution of the restaurant,” he continued. “We all work together to achieve that goal, and continue to search for ways of doing things better.”

Congratulations Victoria & Albert.

My spouse and I have been VERY fortunate to eat in the dining room for a birthday and then he surprised me for a private dinner for 2 for our 10th Anniversary in the Chefs Kitchen which was an experience of a life time.

The staff take great pride in their service and all the Chefs in the kitchen work harmoniously while creating incredible food. I was surprised for the 10 or so Chefs it was nothing like some of the hectic cooking shows. Chef Scott Hummel was great. Thanks again.

Again C-O-N-G-R-A-T-U-L-A-T-I-O-N-S!!!!!

We had the pleasure of experiencing the Chef’s Table at Victoria & Albert’s earlier this year. It was a magnificent meal presented by an outstanding staff. We’ve added the dining room to our list of favorites. Not just WDW favorites, but on our list of world-wide restaurant favorites. V&A is truly a world-class destination!

Congrats V&As. I wish I could dine there with my own “Victor”. But, I have a feeling it’ll be a while for that to happen. :-D

I’ve only been there once, but it was the best dining experience of my life! Hopefully I’ll have the opportunity of going again.
