posted on July 15th, 2011 by Jennifer Fickley-Baker, Editorial Content Manager

We just received a fresh batch of images from our friends at Walt Disney Imagineering depicting attractions and experiences planned for New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park. While specific details are yet-to-be-announced, we couldn’t wait to share them with you.

Artist Rendering of the Be Our Guest Restaurant Coming to the New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park

The Be Our Guest Restaurant will welcome “Beauty and the Beast” fans in royal style inside Beast’s Castle.

Artist Rendering of the Enchanted Tales with Belle Experience Coming to the New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park

The Enchanted Tales with Belle experience will allow guests to enjoy a re-telling of “the tale as old as time.”

Artist Rendering of Barnstormer Featuring Goofy as the Great Goofini Coming to the New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park

The new Barnstormer will feature Goofy as the Great Goofini, a true daredevil pilot in the skies.

Which of these New Fantasyland experiences are you most looking forward to?

My family and I were there in early June. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go again and see the new kingdoms.

Beth on July 15th, 2011 at 10:41 am

Be Our Guest!!!

Kristina on July 15th, 2011 at 10:45 am

My family and I recently got home from a wonderful Disney World vacation. I am also a mom blogger for the Little Rock Mamas in Arkansas. I am currently blogging about my day to day experiences, tips and tons of photos. Do you let quest bloggers submit their links?

Tracy from IL on July 15th, 2011 at 10:57 am

Awesome! But I was hoping for “NEW” images – these have been posted in Fantasyland for a while. So excited – cannot wait for 2012!

Kelsey on July 15th, 2011 at 11:00 am

Beauty and the beast i love the movie and have ever since i was a baby. My room is decorated in b&b and my prom dress was belle’s. i go to disney every year and im so excited to see the castle and have a beauty and the beast experience!!!

Emily on July 15th, 2011 at 11:15 am

Haha yea I thought they were supposed to be new too! Lol oh well, I still like these anyway :)

JJ on July 15th, 2011 at 11:52 am

Hard to pick which one I’m most excited about, since they all bring something different and great to New Fantasyland. I’d have to say I’m, above all the new things coming, looking forward to the Seven Dwarves Mine Train coaster. But of these three, I’m most excited about Be Our Guest Restaurant.

Michelle on July 15th, 2011 at 1:26 pm

SO glad to see that storytime with Belle will be back! My older daughter still talks about getting to play Chip, and now perhaps our younger daughter will get a similar opportunity! Good stuff!

Steven on July 15th, 2011 at 1:30 pm

I am really excited about everything, but am still very upset about the loss of Mickey and Minnie’s houses. I am afraid we are turning Disney into Princess world instead of something that was all started with a mouse.

Deborah from KY on July 15th, 2011 at 1:30 pm

My first date with my husband was the Movie Beauty and The Beast so I would have to say that would be my favorite. When does all of this open. I’ll be there June 10th 2012.

Kari from RI on July 15th, 2011 at 1:31 pm

I’m really looking forward to stepping inside the “Be Our Guest” restaurant and being transported into that gorgeous ballroom in the movie. ^^

Bradley from TN on July 15th, 2011 at 1:32 pm

Um, these aren’t new. I’ve seen all of these drawings before. Still excited about the expansion nonetheless!

Jennifer from AL on July 15th, 2011 at 1:37 pm

Enchanted Tales with Belle looks very small and I’m sure demand will be high. I hope it has a good set-up to allow everyone to get in. The wait for Rapunzel when we went in April was crazy!!!

Patricia from MD on July 15th, 2011 at 1:37 pm

Do you know what is happening to Mickey and Minnie’s houses from Toontown? Are they being destoyed or moved to the new Fantasyland? We enjoy them sooo much. Hope they will still be around somewhere? Thanks

Michael on July 15th, 2011 at 1:54 pm

I am SOOOOOO happy that it appears (from what you can see in the rendering anyway) the only thing changing about Barnstormer is the entrance. My little one was getting frustrated at being JUST too short to ride some of the bigger coasters and as many times as I’ve been to Magic Kingdom, I didn’t even know Barnstormer existed. That ride was the highlight of our trip last year and we must have gone on it 10 times in a row (surprisingly short wait time). We were disappointed this year to find it was closed, but so happy it is coming back!

renee on July 15th, 2011 at 2:03 pm

im excited for the Barn Stormer.i have a little boy who has seen the ride on youtube and loves the look of it. hes a mini coaster freak just like his momma! ive never ridden it b4 so it will be a new experience for the both of us.

Heather on July 15th, 2011 at 2:09 pm

Will the new fantasyland open in stages or will all the rides open at the same time?

Julia on July 15th, 2011 at 2:12 pm

I can’t wait for my family to go back and see this though we won’t make it until after completion. We plan on going to Disneyland next year maybe 2013 will hold a trip to Disneyworld and a Disney Cruise combo for us. I know my youngest is really looking forward to all the changes that involve the princesses and the fairies.

Cherilyn from OH on July 15th, 2011 at 2:22 pm

Can’t wait to come back and see the expansion! We will be back in December 2012. My 3 and 4 year old sons keep asking me when we are going back to what they call “our Disnay home.”

Samuel from FL on July 15th, 2011 at 3:02 pm

I’d love some more info on the Be Our Guest restaurant. The castle is nearly impossible to get dining reservations.

Joann from NJ on July 15th, 2011 at 3:26 pm

Coming to Disney in April 2012, will the Be Our Guest restaurant open yet? Will anything be ready? Looking forward to see the new Fantasyland.

michelle on July 15th, 2011 at 3:52 pm

You know what would be cool? Having senior prom in the ballroom that Belle and the Beast dance in in the movie. Or even better, my wedding reception. Now THAT would be a dream come true!

Ken from OH on July 15th, 2011 at 3:59 pm

Can’t wait to ride the Great Goofini coaster with my grandchildren.

Chloe on July 15th, 2011 at 4:24 pm

Oh…that looks like solo much fun! Do you know if the Be OurGuest Restaurant will be featured on the Dining Plan? Possibly by Spring 2013? My family and I are planning a vacation for that time. Thanks

Aaron on July 15th, 2011 at 5:14 pm

Hadn’t considered the attractions would include new dining options, but it makes total sense. What Walt said about the first ten years of Disneyland were truly a dress rehearsal, in the same fashion, Disneyworld continues to incorporate feedback and make improvements annually. What a fun change, can’t wait to see it in person. Will this be available as past of the next generation experience?

Carey on July 15th, 2011 at 5:55 pm

Extraordinary! Cannot wait to eat in Beast Castle at Be Our Guest! What other rides will Fantasyland hold?

Andy on July 15th, 2011 at 8:15 pm

Be…. Our…. Guest, Be Our Guest put our service to the test!

Candie on July 15th, 2011 at 11:01 pm

Candie from Florida July 15
we are renewing our vows in April of 2012 i am SO hoping that the be our guest restaurant will be open I think that it would make a great welcome dinner for our guest.

Maribel on July 15th, 2011 at 11:15 pm

Love all this new ideas, can’t wait to see the Beauty and Beast restaurant… all but the Great Goofini :(

Tierra on July 16th, 2011 at 8:43 am

Be Our Guest!!!!!

Lisa from co antrim on July 16th, 2011 at 6:36 pm

Was soooooooooo excited about our plans for our next visit in July 2012 only to realise that this expansion will not be ready by then. Probably gonna delay going now until spring 2013, much to my 2 princesses(8&4)and my disappointment!

Paul on July 17th, 2011 at 12:29 am

I’m looking forward to the Seven Dwarves Mine Coaster the most out of the new additions to Fantasyland.

Out of the three choices given however I guess I would choose the restaurant only because I don’t have young children. I enjoy the park as an adult. Beauty and the Beast and Goofini seem to be for very young children.

Roberto from NJ on July 17th, 2011 at 10:53 am

Hello all,

Will be taking the Disney Cruise, leaving out of NYC in May of 2012 with a stop in Florida on the way back…a one day park hopper pass and will definately make it our st, looking forward to it’s

Karen from WI on August 1st, 2011 at 1:22 pm

Without a doubt, the Enchanted Tales with Belle. I really miss the Storytime with Belle in the garden. It was one of my must do’s.

Lesli on August 3rd, 2011 at 8:21 pm

Will there be a Beast’s Library at the new expansion of Fantasy Land in Disney World? I love the pictures even though they are old.(Not sarcastically). I am so excited!!! I hope they like the one like at Disneyland. Do you also know about the ariel ride? Thanx,
