Voices of Liberty Sing the National Anthem

posted on July 4th, 2011 by Jennifer Fickley-Baker, Editorial Content Manager

Happy Fourth of July, everyone!

On Friday, we gave you a look at Voices of Liberty, the a cappella vocal group that performs daily at the American pavilion at Epcot. In honor of today’s holiday, we have another treat for you – Voices of Liberty singing the United States’ national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Man that girl all the way to the right’s got lungs at 1:45 in the video! That note was pure perfection! Great job to all of the singers, they should be very proud of their great talent!

I could sit and listen to the Voices all day everyday. Their harmonies are beautiful and they are delightful to be around. Thanks for posting this!

Do you know who composed this piece? I would like our choir to sing this! It would be great!!!

They were AMAZING today in the American Gardens Theatre! “Golden Dream” never sounded so beautiful. All the music was great. I wasn’t prepared to stay until late evening for fireworks, but seeing them today made my Fourth of July!

Golden Dream is a GREAT song, isn’t it? I have it on cassette from the 1980s. :)

Their introduction is almost as stirring as the performance. Too bad there wasn’t time to include it in the video here, as it’s about as long as the song itself.

Can’t say enough good things about the Voices. They’re better than any thrill ride or character breakfast in WDW! And they’re super-nice people as well. Be sure to go up and visit some time after a performance!

I love that they perform in the lobby. No need to wait for a seat in a theater to see them.

Wow wow wow. Thank you!
