Learning and Libations with Gary at the `Olelo Room

posted on September 16th, 2011 by Erin Glover, Editorial Content Director, Disneyland Resort

While you’re immersing yourself in the Hawaiian culture at Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa, in Ko Olina, Hawai`i, you’ll find yourself confronted with many unfamiliar words. What to do? Stop by the `Olelo Room, where you can get a pia (beer) and a crash course in the Hawaiian language. With Hawaiian words and phrases everywhere and cast members fluent in the language, after two drinks you’ll be speaking Hawaiian too! Go inside the `Olelo Room with Gary in his latest Aulani report:

And beginning Monday, I’ll be reporting live from Aulani via Twitter! Follow @DisneyParks for live updates all week as we prepare for the Grand Opening celebration on September 22. You’ll know it’s me when you see “/erin” at the end of the tweet. Aloha!

I agree @Renee. And Gary always gets the tough assignments! Fun video and that place looks terrific.
