This Sunday, Oct. 16, thousands of walkers will hit the pavement at the Disneyland Resort in support of CHOC Children’s. Since its inception, the event has raised $17 million for health care programs, education and research at CHOC.
Disney friends cheer from the sidelines as the 5K takes walkers through Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks and concludes at Downtown Disney District. Opening ceremony festivities begin at 6:45 a.m. and the walk starts at 7 a.m.

CHOC hospital is an amazing Children’s Hospital in Orange County . A family friend was the official first patient. They do so much that goes untold. Thank you Disneyland for recognizing them as an important part of the community.
I had to Google ‘CHOC’ to find out what it was, but very cool! Wish I lived in CA; I’d participate!
