Next up in our series of luscious cakes from Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts is this delectable sweet potato cake from the Disneyland Bakery. Don’t look for a recipe – we don’t have it – our intent is merely to showcase the talent that goes into making every single sweet. (And to make you hungry!)
This cake is served at Tangaroa Terrace – Casual Island Dining at the Disneyland Hotel, a combo of sponge cake made with sweet potatoes and a guava cream cheese filling. A drizzle of simple syrup keeps it moist, and a sprinkle of sugar between layers makes it easy to build the cake.
