Downtown Disney Holiday Trees to be Donated to Local Military Families

In less than two weeks, the joy of the holiday season will come in the form of a fully decorated tree to 17 local military families from the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit!

If you happened to visit Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort this weekend, you were likely greeted by the unique and beautifully decorated trees near ESPN Zone. These fun trees were created by the employees in various locations including Build-a-Bear-Workshop and RIDEMAKERZ, which are shown below, World of Disney, Rainforest Café, La Brea Bakery and Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen. Each is themed to its respective location and includes everything from ornaments to toys and even gift cards.

If you haven’t seen the trees, stop by and check them out! They are available for your viewing pleasure during the week from 3-10 p.m. and on the weekend from 1-10 p.m.

You can even vote for your favorite tree by texting to DPARK (see the tree of your choice for instructions on what to text).

Happy Holidays!
