  • Absolutely incredible!

  • Incredible!

  • Thanks again to the entire Disney crew. We had a great time, and the extra perks were tremendously appreciated!

  • they HAVE done contests where they randomly pick the winners. The problem is that you get people who waited 2 days to enter versus people who entered within 5-10 min of the contest. Some of us follow the blog very closely, and also follow Disney on Twitter. If you follow Disneyland on twitter, you can and should have messages they post sent to your phone. I get notified within seconds of a contest, and I’ve won many of these over the last 3 years because of it. I also get useful information about the parks that isn’t readily available anywhere else. Complaining about not winning a contest makes you sound greedy. Also, who’s to say your “random” selection will EVER include you as a winner? That’s the point of random, you don’t know if you will win. Those complaining about the “rules” should actually read the official rules. They always state how many actual prizes are being given out and based on that you can see how long you have to enter. I remember when they did the ElecTRONica Meetup, and included over 3000 people in it. There were NOT 3000 people at that meetup, and it’s a LOT of work for the staff to put together these meetups. People are notorious for not showing up when there are hundreds of available slots. The Special AP night just a few months ago? I went. There was nowhere near the 5000+Guests people in the park that registered. I’d much prefer the sample to be smaller, and get people that ACTUALLY want to win instead of people that sorta kinda maybe want to win.

  • (Jen) So do I! How do I always see contest after their over

  • I read the Disney Parks Blog almost every day, but always seem to read about these contests too late. I wish you’d run them for a full 24 hours and then randomly pick the winners.

  • Oh my gosh.. when are the emails being sent??

  • I submitted at 2:08 and won, but my brother sent his in at 2:23 and he missed out. With the delay in email time, etc, I’d guess the contest lasted about 15-20 minutes max, which is typical of these contests with such a limited list of winners. Disney is very generous for constantly having contests on the blog!!

  • Is there any way to see a list of winners…. Also is there any way to find out what time the last winning entry was submitted… Thanks

  • can’t wait thanks again!

  • So, will you be at the Meetup Erin?

  • Any chance of getting a list of winners. What if winners e-mails don’t come through due to e-mail settings? Past events the winners have been posted and had an opportunity to e-mail you.

  • Oh I see the fine print now about the first 50 entries. Strange.

  • When will the next W.D.W. Disney Parks Blog meet-up be?

  • Whaaat? It said she’s 7 feet tall on the blog, not 7.5! ;-;

  • Can the ones that got an email tell me what time they sent their winning email so I can see if I have a shot. I’m dying to go. :( thank u :)

  • Did everyone get confirmation email??!

  • I got my email! 😀 Yay, thank you Disney Parks Blog!

Bobby — you win 2 individual tickets — each ticket lets a person go to one park per day, for two days. They don’t have to be two days in a row, they have to be used before some time in June, and it looks like we’re blocked out for Spring Break. Also, you get 4 people into California Adventure if you RSVP for that Jake pirate concert event on February 4th.

Last year I was able to pay about $20 extra per ticket to upgrade them to park hoppers, which is a nice perk.

  • The rules stated that entry deadline is on 1/19 so how can winners already be picked? “2. ENTRY: This is a Contest intended for you as a contestant legally residing within U.S. Mail zip codes 90000-93599 (individually, “Invitee”) to enter during the period commencing at 2:00 P.M., January 18, and ending at 11:59:59 P.M., January 19, 2012 (“Entry Period”).”

  • I won!!! Now just to verify, it said a pair of 2-day 1 park tickets. Does that mean we are getting 4 tickets total or just the 2?

  • Yes! Thank you! We can’t wait! :)

  • grrrr…wonder what the cutoff time was? I had high hopes because they announced the contest over so late.

  • man missed another contest! :(

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!

  • Anyone get an email yet??? Keep checking to see if I got my entry in as one of the first 50!!! Fingers crossed:) Will all the confirmation emails go out today? Have they already gone out?

  • Yay for my sister! She just got a confirmation!

  • Darn. Don’t think I got it in on time!

  • I won!

  • When will the emails go out? Will a list of winners be posted? Thanks for having the awesome contest! *Crossing fingers*

  • 3) whether Entries are among the first 50 valid Entries received. From the rules. I thought it was lotto style too. Anyone get an email yet?

  • Will a list of winners be posted? So if the email doesn’t come through we still know we won and can contact you.

  • Just saw the Official Rules “(3) whether Entries are among the first 50 valid Entries received (collectively, “Criteria”).” It really should say that in the large print and not the fine print

  • Thought the contest was over on January 19 from what the blog says “Please follow the instructions carefully and double-check your answers. Entries that do not follow all directions and do not provide correct answers will be disqualified. For official rules, please click here. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law. Ends January 19, 2012. Transportation/travel and other expenses not included in prize.” but they have already picked winners as of 3:27 pm PST on January 18th???

  • I just entered 20 minutes ago :( thought it was over tomorrow. Did I win? :( It says over Jan 19th??

  • FINGERS CROSSED!!!

  • that was fast!

  • This is exciting! Hope I got my entry in quickly enough! Would also love to go to the park blog meet-up, it’s on my Birthday!

    Good Luck everyone!

  • JUST ENTERED! <3
    I hope I win!

  • Still waiting on more winners?

  • If we’re already annual passholders, can we give the tickets to somebody else and just go to the meet and greet ourselves? Or what happens if you’re already an AP?

  • Are you taking entries all through tomorrow or just enough to get the amount of winners you need? Previous contests stopped entry when enough entries had been received.

  • Can’t wait to find out if I got my entry in on time…. :)

  • YES, YES, YES. Thanks for the opportunity, hoping to win!

  • I was a speed demon getting this one in. Let’s hope I was fast enough. My son could use a nice birthday present this year! :)

  • Got my entry submitted and shared this with all my friends who are always complaining that they never see these wonderful contests in time to play!

    Good Luck to Everyone!

  • Fingers crossed for my sister. Since I’m not a SoCal resident, I told her about the contest and made her enter!!!
