Rev up your engines Disney fans, and hang on, because I’m taking you on the inside track for a quick look at some of the stores racing your way this summer into Cars Land.

Radiator Springs Curios Coming to Disney California Adventure Park

Our first destination will definitely have you putting on the brakes, because Radiator Springs Curios is sure to ‘drive’ you crazy for trading. Fill up on kitsch roadside must-haves like pins and Vinylmation themed to all things “Cars,” or grab some quick pick-me-up items like antenna toppers, window clings, license plate frames and magnets that are sure to make you the envy of others on the open road.

Ramone’s House of Body Art Coming to Disney California Adventure Park

I’m going to need you to keep your cool for our next stop… because we are cruising into Ramone’s House of Body Art. This high-octane, garage-like environment has all the tools needed for you to hit the road in style. While some will race in to become a member of the Low & Slow Car Club Radiator Springs, the Champion Custom Speed Shop collection is sure to meet your need for speed with signature pin-stripe style and laid-back look which appears on a variety of shirts for work and play, hats and accessory items.

Next week, I’ll be able to give you a glimpse at some of the actual products from these collections. Until then, check out the renderings of the store fronts. Sweet, right?

Had enough? Me neither.

Sarge’s Surplus Hut Coming to Disney California Adventure Park

So finally it’s time to earn your stripes as you “march in” to the barracks of Sarge’s Surplus Hut, but don’t let its military-style characteristics fool you – it’s sure to get your engine racing. Don’t be fearful that you’ll have to “drop and give Sarge twenty,” because you’ll find that every inch of merchandise in this facility will pass “inspection” by the troops, with its broad selection of offerings featuring Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater and other classic “Cars” characters. From kids clothing, costumes and hats to novelty items, toys and plush, you will find all the necessary rations before you race on to your next adventure.

So where will you make your first pit stop? Radiator Spring’s Curios, Ramone’s House of Body Art or Sarge’s Surplus Hut?

  • I love the Retro Look!!!! Can’t wait to see it in “real” life.

  • All of them! :^)

  • Oh how wonderful! I am really lookig forward to the cast previews!

  • So excited! I spent an hour on my last trip walking along the wall peaking through every crack and then standing on a bench outside of Blue Sky Cellar to see over the wall. My grandparents thought i was crazy, but it was worth it to see for myself all the cool things they show us on Disney Parks Blog!

  • I need to know if there is going to be anything Finn McMissile at the new Cars Land. I have an absolutely obsessed son! He loves all things Finn. I honestly think my husband, sons, and I would make a special trip Disneyland if Finn was there.

  • Hey Michelle. Love your updates because we are all about shopping at the Disneyland Resort! Nicole and I can’t wait to browse through these shops in Cars Land!

  • If Ramone’s doesn’t have a temporary tattoo area in it, imagineers aren’t as smart as I think they are! 😉 How cool would it be for a Dad and son (or other combo, but you get the idea) to get a matching flame job on their forearms or sweet pinstriping from your hand down to your elbow? Or get an airbrush-style-on-the-side-of-a-van (think along the lines of Meat Loaf’s best selling album cover -won’t say the name here) pin-up version of Sally/Holly/Flo along with the standards that they have at other places in the park?

  • Just 156 more days until I get to take my son to Disneyland for his birthday. Not sure which one of us is more excited.

  • I was there today. It’s coming along nicely. Can’t wait to just hang-out there, especially at night, with all of the neon.

  • Sounds awesome!

From what I heard at last year’s D23 Expo, the stores sound like they are going to be very detailed inside.

I can’t wait for Cars Land. It was a great idea to create the whole town of Radiator Springs for guests to explore, and the rides sound awesome!

Its a great idea for California Adventure, (the Route 66 theme) and of course the Disney twist.

  • I am so excited to explore these stores. They look so much like the movie. Would I expect anything less from Disney, of course not! 🙂 Love hearing all of the updates great work gang!

  • Summer 2012… Can’t wait!
