In just hours, Disney Cruise Line will officially christen the Disney Fantasy in New York City and we’re making sure you can follow along if you’re not at the historic ceremony. It’s going to be a spectacular event! Disney CEO Bob Iger and Tom Staggs, the chairman of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, will preside over the gala ceremony and they’ll be joined by several special guests, including the godmother of the Disney Fantasy. Our live Twitter coverage of the ceremony begins at 7:45 p.m. EST on the @DisneyCruise account. See you tonight!

Will there be a live video feed of the Christening ceremony, as there was for the Dream?

Thomas, is this an indication that unlike the Dream christening, the event will not be streamed live on the web anywhere?

Thanks!

Seriously? I have to join twitter to watch the christening? Why isn’t this site just doing a web cast like you did for the Dream? I was SO looking forward to watching, I’ll be on the Fantasy this September for my 10th anniversary.

Can’t wait to see more of the Fantasy!

Also to the previous commenters: you do not need a twitter account to view the @DisneyCruise twitter feed. You can click on the @DisneyCruise link provided in Thomas Smith’s post, and see everything. @DisneyCruise is public. No twitter account required, as far as I know! Everyone can enjoy!
