Someone at my dinner table aboard the Disney Fantasy wrapped up the week perfectly when they said, “you’ve had some amazingly fun days at Disney Parks this week.” Why yes, we have. First, Disney Cruise Line christened the newest ship in the fleet, the Disney Fantasy, with a grand ceremony that included celebrity performances, the introduction of a world-class crew and the official announcement of the ship’s godmother, Mariah Carey. Take a look at some exclusive video from the night.
And the Disney Fantasy celebration happened just hours after our “One more Disney Day” festivities at both the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. It was the first time ever, both Magic Kingdom Park and Disneyland park stayed open for 24 hours for an extra day of magic.
We also created a special splitscreen video for Disney Parks Blog readers called, “A Tale of Two Parks.” And if you didn’t notice, there was plenty more fun to share. Here are some of the other stories we worked on this week.
