From the Drawing Board: Take a Look at the Suites Coming to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

posted on March 2nd, 2012 by Michelle Baumann, Walt Disney World Public Relations

Animators may be the masterminds behind the theming of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, but Imagineers who designed the resort are making their own “suite” magic. There’s enough space in the resort’s family suites for the entire family to chill out, spread out, and feel like they are part of the story. Get this – the table even folds down to reveal a comfy bed that sleeps two!

Take a peek at this second in a series of videos with the inside scoop. And stay tuned – there’s more to come!

I am SO excited about this new resort! Now the tough part of deciding whether we want a Cars, Nemo or Lion King room!

Thank you, Thank you for these suites. We always need more room with our family of 5 and especially since our oldest has autism and she needs her own space to unwind and decompress. So excited.

will DVC members be able to use points for these? My son would love to stay in a Cars room. My daughter would love any of them.

This is awesome! My family and I are a total of 6 people, so a family suite at Lion King resort would be wonderful! =)

Yeah! Just booked a Little Mermaid room! Thank you Disney for opening up reservations ahead of schedule!
