VIDEO RECAP: SIGNin’ in the Street at Disneyland Resort Celebrates Creativity in the Deaf Community

posted on March 21st, 2012 by Kevin Rafferty, Jr., Communications Specialist, Disneyland Resort

Last weekend, the Disneyland Resort hosted SIGNin’ in the Street at the Downtown Disney District, a first-of-its-kind event at any Disney property celebrating creativity in the deaf community. The event, which underscores Disney’s commitment to diversity, provided guests the opportunity to learn more about deaf culture through performances, workshops, screenings and celebrity presentations.

Enjoy this look back at SIGNin’ in the Street!

I don’t think the event worked out due to the heavy rain on Saturday.

I hope this event comes to Disney World too. I would have loved to have been there, but I couldn’t get to southern California just for the weekend.
