In this installment of our “Did You Know” video series, Allen Ho from Disneyland Resort Facilities and Energy Management will tell you about a Thermal Energy Storage Tank that the Disneyland Resort built in order to have a more energy-efficient process for air-conditioning buildings inside Disney California Adventure park.

I really love this innovation which is a great example of smart sollutions to our energy demands. I my line of work all innovations concerning a more efficient energy usage pass my desk (I’m working on the smart grid implementation in my Country). I just love all the great and smart innovations and I’ve always wondered how themeparks could implement some of these technologies. Well I’m happy to see that Disney has implemented such smart sollutions!!!
