As you may know, Disneyland Resort guests may book dining reservations through the Disney Dine Line (714-781-DINE) but, beginning today, we’re offering a new way to request a dining reservation at the resort.

Here’s how it works:

  • Guests may now email their dining reservation requests to dine@disneyland.com
  • Requests will be reviewed the same day, when received during the hours of 7 a.m. – 9 p.m., 7 days a week
  • Requests received after hours will be reviewed the next day
  • Guests may request Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Studio Disney 365 reservations through this email address as well
  • Email requests should include the following information:
    • Name of the restaurant or experience you’d like to book
    • Requested reservation date and meal period (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
    • Total number of guests in your party
    • Your name and phone number
  • Remember: Your request is not confirmed until you’ve received a confirmation number

We know that Disneyland Resort guests are very excited about the upcoming opening of Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure park on June 15. Dining reservations are not available at this time, but keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and @Disneyland on Twitter for updates on when the booking window for this brand-new restaurant will open.

  • Can Fantasmic reserved seating be done this way? If so, how far ahead? I was told on the phone I had to wait until 30 days before, not 60.

  • Gave the system a try yesterday. I give it a ‘thumbs up’! My reservation was confirmed within 10 minutes (Sent request at 9:35. Confirmation received at 9:46). Lookin’ good so far!

Jason: I was wondering the same thing and just included my desire to be near the water with my request. Here’s the response:

“Your request for a table by the water has been submitted, but can not be guaranteed as all requests are based on availability, and it might accrue a longer waiting time.”

From what Erin says, you should be able to submit any dining inquiry and get help from the cast members stuck in a bunker answering emails. 😉

  • Can requests be made this way, such as a water-side seat at Blue Bayou?

  • Can Fantasmic dessert package be booked this way?

  • Can World of Color dining package be booked this way?

  • Sounds like a great idea!

  • We are ariving the 9th of May and staying till the 14th on the 10 our dauther is turning 9 years old i know you guys have a birthday package for that perpose but whitch plases have that and how much. We are also planning on makeing reservations and the Blue Bayou while we are there can you help. Please.

    • Hi Tammy – If you email your questions to dine@disneyland.com, a cast member will be able to help you with your questions. Enjoy your visit!

  • Wow! How fantastic for non-US Disney guests.

I have a question though, can you send more than one reservation on an email or would you need to send separate emails for each individual reservation?

    • Sure thing, Lucy – you can make multiple reservation requests in one email.

  • Is the Napa Rose only available for meals? Can you get a reservation for just drinks and some food to go with that?

    • Elizabeth – You may want to consider the Napa Rose Lounge, where you can enjoy a drink, appetizers or dessert without a reservation.

  • This is such a wonderful idea and will make it so much easier for those of us outside the USA to make a reservation………although I really didn’t mind ringing through at 4 in the morning, after all it is Disney!!!

  • But how do you know the hours of each particular restaurant? Are there plans to list this information on the website?

  • Does anyone know if there will every be a dining plan introduced like what is in FL. Used the dining plan for the first time and absolutely loved it.

  • This is a great thing- I am a Disney travel agent and love this new feature!

  • I still would like at some point to be able to do this via a website or, better yet, a smartphone ap. Also does it include Fantasmic/World of Color seating?

  • They have online reservation

  • My family is planning a visit the first week in October, we’ve booked a 2 Bedroom Villa at Disney’s Grand Californian. Can we send requests for dining reservations now, or should we wait until later in the summer? Thanks

    • Chris – Reservations may be requested up to 60 days in advance. Enjoy your visit!

  • How far in advance can we book a reservation for the Little Red Wagon?

    • You got me, Chris! The link is fixed now, and should take you to the correct list of restaurants that accept reservations (just give the page a few seconds to refresh). 🙂

  • How far in advance can you make the reservation? I know by phone it is 60 days, does that apply to email as well?

    • Hi Brandi – The same policy applies to this service: reservations may be requested up to 60 days in advance.

  • When will you offer online reservations like Walt Disney World?
