Today, we’re excited to officially announce plans to bring your favorite Starbucks drinks and food items to all of our theme parks at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
In June, the first of six planned Starbucks locations is scheduled to open at Disney California Adventure park. And more locations are planned at Disneyland park and Walt Disney World Resort (Magic Kingdom Park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom).
The Starbucks locations inside our parks will be designed to fit the theme of their surroundings. At Disney California Adventure park, Starbucks will be located in the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Café on Buena Vista Street, a place that transports guests to 1920s Los Angeles, when Walt Disney arrived in California and a cup of coffee was the perfect way to jumpstart a busy day. The store’s location plays off the Spanish/Mexican architecture of the period, and baristas will wear 1920s-inspired attire.
The café will serve Starbucks items, including coffee and espresso beverages, Frappuccino® blended beverages, and signature breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Guests also will have their choice of Disney favorites, including signature sandwiches and other items, as well as delicious desserts and sweet treats.
Let us know what you’ll be ordering in the comments.

I think I’m the only person in the world that doesn’t drink coffee but that’s less people in line on the rides so I’m so happy to hear this news
Candice from SK on April 23rd, 2012 at 12:53 pm
Hi Tom, I am so excited to get my Starbucks fix at WDW. Question when will Starbucks be avail at WDW. I am going in the 2nd week in Sept & hoping it will be there by then.
Phillip on April 23rd, 2012 at 12:56 pm
Buena Vista Street should have at least 3 Starbucks, to keep up with the Starbucks theme.
Tiffany from NC on April 23rd, 2012 at 12:58 pm
I haven’t seen this answered yet….Will we still be able to get Nescafe? I love Nescafe. I mean, Starbucks is great too. It’s just that sometimes I just want a regular cup of coffee
Thomas Smith on April 24th, 2012 at 11:12 am
Great question, Tiffany. This announcement does not affect the sale of coffee elsewhere in our theme parks.
jennifer on April 23rd, 2012 at 1:01 pm

So excited! My two favorite things together! I’ll have to make sure to tell my friends (who are Starbucks Baristas) about this!
Jesse on April 23rd, 2012 at 1:11 pm

Do you think the ones in Florida will be open by mid-September?
Julie from ON on April 23rd, 2012 at 1:40 pm
Grande Non Fat Tazo Chai tea latte! SWEET !!!! We will be there in December and this would be icing on the cake !
Dawn on April 23rd, 2012 at 1:44 pm
What makes Disney so magical is that you feel as if you are transported to a different place. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy Starbucks. However, I don’t want to see my everyday corner coffee spot while on vacation.
Have to say I dislike this “latest Disney idea”.
Alan on April 23rd, 2012 at 1:47 pm
Will they have the seasonal coffees and drinks as well, like Pumpkin Spice in the fall, and Peppermint mocha during Christmas?
James on April 23rd, 2012 at 1:50 pm
I’ve been wondering why this didn’t exist for years! Please be sure to get the teas as well. Chai Latte and a Shaken Black Tea Lemonade are my drinks of choice!
Nicole on April 23rd, 2012 at 1:51 pm
Like Jason, I don’t drink coffee. But I am excited to hopefully get more lemonade/tea options and a better tasting hot chocolate!!
David from CA on April 23rd, 2012 at 1:52 pm
Tom, will the locations be staffed by foods CMs or Starbucks employees? Also, will Disney start serving Starbucks coffees at ODV locations, restaurants, and other counter-service locations throughout the Disney Parks network (i.e. Market House at DL)?
Thomas Smith on April 24th, 2012 at 11:08 am
Hi David, the locations will be staffed by Disney Cast Members. This announcement does not affect the sale of coffee elsewhere in our theme parks.
Dana on April 23rd, 2012 at 1:54 pm

Alexandra on April 23rd, 2012 at 1:56 pm
Will they accept AP discounts?
Darren from CT on April 23rd, 2012 at 1:57 pm
Wow, looks like someone read my Twitter post last week begging for real coffee at Walt Disney World! This ought to make extra magic hours more bearable (both, AM and PM)
Lacy on April 23rd, 2012 at 2:01 pm
Wonderful news! Now I can have my chai while at Disney!
Michelle from VA on April 23rd, 2012 at 2:10 pm
Finally some decent coffee at WDW. It will then be THE happiest place on earth!
Can’t wait to hear when & where Starbucks will be at WDW.
Sam on April 23rd, 2012 at 2:13 pm
Well then, I guess we will be renewing our prem annual passes after all. No offense to Nescafe but sbux is a much, much better fit. Now if we can just get a Chipolte in Downtown Disney I might never leave.
Lisa from MA on April 23rd, 2012 at 2:32 pm
I’ll order a grande, decaf, 2-pump skinny vanilla latte, extra hot with a sprinkle of nutmeg when it’s cool weather and an iced grande, decaf, 2-pump skinny vanilla latte with light ice and extra milk when it’s warm outside.
Can’t wait!!
Ron on April 23rd, 2012 at 2:44 pm
So will Starbuck’s Disneyland carry the specific mugs for the park? A Disneyland Starbuck’s ceramic mug would be FANTASTIC!!!
Alison on April 23rd, 2012 at 2:55 pm
This is very exciting news…and I know lots of happy locals and Cast will love this too!
Barbara from TX on April 23rd, 2012 at 2:56 pm
Hope there will be soy milk available for those not able to have or want dairy products.
Karen on April 23rd, 2012 at 3:25 pm
Hope they will accept the Starbucks gift cards – love to keep building my free drinks! I wonder if Disney’s arrangement is different than other parks – the Starbucks inside Universal Orlando doesn’t accept the gift cards.
Gianna on April 23rd, 2012 at 3:36 pm
I just got a Starbucks gift card this week. Fate?
Hayley on April 23rd, 2012 at 3:37 pm
Disneyland in California is my favorite vacation destination! My daughters, neices and I are going this July. I drink a Starbucks skinny mocha everyday. We spend the majority of our time inside the Disneyland park – not California Adventure. Will there be a Starbucks located inside of the park by late July?
Cynthia from MA on April 23rd, 2012 at 3:45 pm
Iced Lattes in AK, MK, HS & EPCOT before August would make me a very happy camper.
Nakoma on April 23rd, 2012 at 4:00 pm
Clearly this is news is very happily received. I have 2 Disney park vacations booked for this year. Here’s hoping at least one of them includes a Starbucks bonus.
Shelby on April 23rd, 2012 at 4:05 pm
My (soon-to-be) hubby and I will be on our honeymoon in early August…It would be amazing if we could get our Starbucks fixes each day. One chilled Chai latte for my man and one Vanilla Bean Frappucino for me!!!
Please send the details on the WDW openings as soon as you can, we’re excited!!!
Tamara on April 23rd, 2012 at 4:17 pm

Danielle from DE on April 23rd, 2012 at 4:40 pm
Wonderful news, but I need my coffee very early in the morning, not after 9am. Please consider expansion to the resorts!!
Stephanie from AZ on April 23rd, 2012 at 5:22 pm
Will you still have the hazelnut coffee available, or will all coffee be converted over the the Starbucks blends? I always really liked the hazelnut coffee in the Market House on Main St.
Robert on April 23rd, 2012 at 5:38 pm
Awesome news! A great marriage between two companies. All we need now is for Starbucks to become the preferred served coffee brand on Disney property. When my family visits, they bring their own due to nest cafe being the only option.
Angela on April 23rd, 2012 at 5:58 pm
Any chance there will be a special DL/DCA Starbucks mug? That would be a great collectors item.
Kelila on April 23rd, 2012 at 6:39 pm
When will these job openings be posted on the website? I am an experienced barista who would love to work for the Mouse!
william on April 23rd, 2012 at 7:22 pm
This the greatest!!!! simple as that… THANK YOU… THANK YOU…. THANK YOU!!!!!
STEPHEN on April 23rd, 2012 at 7:49 pm
Will we get an Annual Pass discount?
Mary on April 23rd, 2012 at 7:54 pm
I love this idea! However, please don’t get rid of your delicious hot cocoa and replace it with Starbucks. That would make me very sad. Also it would be very sad if the Writer’s Stop was shut down..
Jami from TN on April 23rd, 2012 at 8:29 pm
I believe this might just be some of the BEST news I’ve ever received!!!! I’m too excited to wait!
looking forward to more details as things are finalized.
Charles from FL on April 23rd, 2012 at 8:34 pm
Sounds wonderful! It will be nice to have an alternative to soda!
Anonymous on April 23rd, 2012 at 8:38 pm
If the Starbucks teas are served it’ll be a Trenta iced black tea unsweetened for me. That’ll power me though any day.
Maybe a nice Vanilla latte for Fireworks.
Becky from NY on April 23rd, 2012 at 8:58 pm
I am going in late July/early August…I love Starbucks. Will it be open anywhere in Walt Disney World by then????
Ricardo on April 23rd, 2012 at 9:02 pm
If I’m currently working through Starbucks and will like to work for the Starbucks that’s opening in DCA. will i be able to transfer there or will have to quit my store and apply with you guys.
Chris on April 23rd, 2012 at 9:12 pm
I’ve been to Walt Disney World 15+ times in the last 25 years and I love how it continues to grow and change. I’m not sure how I feel about this one, its nice to go to WDW and be completely removed from reminders of everyday life.
