Vintage Walt Disney World: Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny Visit Magic Kingdom Park

posted on April 5th, 2012 by Nate Rasmussen, Archivist, Marketing Resource Center

Chocolate Bunnies. Jelly Beans. Eggs. Who doesn’t love a visit from the Easter Bunny? Back in March 1986, Mickey and Minnie (look at her Easter bonnet!) took some time out from their busy schedules to join Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny in Magic Kingdom Park.

The only question is, what was inside the giant Easter egg behind Mickey and Minnie? I’m hoping it was pure milk chocolate. Yum!

I remember seeing Mr.and Mrs. Easter Bunny in Disneyland in the 70’s. There was always an Easter parade, the hat shops sold beautiful Easter Bonnets and the window displays along Main Street were works of art. Magical memories….

I’d like to see Oswald involved in Disney’s Easter Celebrations next year. :)

Love the Vintage look! Love the black and white photo. I just love Disney even at the age of 55! What can I say!

I think it is funny the 1986 is considered “vintage”! LOL! I graduated from high school that year! I guess that makes me vintage too! Thanks for the great pic!
