posted on June 4th, 2012 by Jonathan Frontado, Disney Cruise Line

Are you celebrating something special on your next Disney cruise?

Disney Cruise Line offers plenty of exclusive onboard gifts and amenities to help you enjoy your birthday or anniversary…or just the fact that you’re on vacation!

Some of the guest favorites are the fruit and cheese platters, wine packages and fresh floral arrangements, which you can have waiting in your stateroom when you arrive. Customized cakes and stateroom décor are also popular options, especially when celebrating a birthday.

There are plenty of other ways you can make your Disney cruise more memorable, like a Touch of Romance picnic kit, an Entertainment Bundle with a portable speaker system and a Family Fun Pack with playing cards. To see what’s offered on your cruise, check out the Disney Cruise Line online Planning Center.

Which gifts and amenities made your last Disney cruise extra special?

Its a shame if you book your holiday in the UK and pay in British pounds you aren’t able to purchase gifts in advance, this is only available if you book and pay in dollars, not great really as they look so lovely as a gift!

How often is the merchandise selection updated? Basically the items currently available have not changed since we cruised 5 yrs ago.

Today the Disney Wonder set sail form Seattle, and me and my family went to a spot on the island where we live (Whidbey Island) so we could see it go by. It was amazing, we went to the to top of Fort Casey and it sailed right passed us, at first it was only a spec, but then it was right in front of us! i was so excited. The only thing better than seeing the Wonder is going on it!

I wish there was a better selection… I’ve cruised three times in the last five years, going on my fourth in October… It’s been the same items… I wish they just had the plush Minnie and Mickey with the sailor outfits. Those would be great to have as gifts.

My family celebrated our daughter’s wedding at the Disney World wedding pavilion and the Boardwalk Resort last August. Since then I have followed the news about the new Disney ships and itineraries and have posted stories about them on my blog. My wife and I can’t wait to cruise on the Dream.
