I remember when I was young our canoe was hijacked by a rowing team LOL
We just rode the canoes for the first time on our trip this month. My three kids and I loved it! It was one of our favorite parts of our visit. The guides were very funny. It was a great new way to experience the waterways.
My son Kelson was in the video. He is the 2 year old in the blue floppy hat getting his life vest on and giving a thumbs up! He loves the canoe rides!!!
My favorite memory of being a River Guide was having a canoe full of nuns. We just *flew* around the River!
I miss the canoes at WDW. It was one of my favorite rides. The best part of the ride was the “cheese jokes” that each guide told.
I still have my certificate and team t-shirt from participating in the 1984 Canoe Olympics (the summer Olympics were in Los Angeles that year).
I tried watching the video but it says its private 🙁
