Last month, we told you how Sharky and Bones (aka “The Never Land Pirate Band” from the Disney Channel hit Jake and the Never Land Pirates) would be performing free concerts at Downtown Disney in Florida through Sunday, August 12, 2012. Well, the two musical scallywags are here now and guests are treasuring their pirate rock. One crowd favorite is the song “Talk like a Pirate.” You’ll hear that tune in our video interview with Sharky and Bones.

On International Talk Like A Pirate Day (September 19), Disney Junior will debut the primetime special “Jake and the Never Land Pirates: Jake Saves Bucky,” in which Peter Pan returns to Never Land to help Jake and crew win back their ship after losing Bucky in a race against Captain Hook and the Jolly Roger. The special premieres September 19 at 7 p.m. ET on Disney Channel.

  • Love J&the pirate but just want to take the opportunity to say that my little girls would LOVE to see Doc McStuffins on our December visit. DHS perhaps?? Just want to get my vote out there!! Thanks!

  • I wish they would stay until August 25th, I have two 3 year-olds and a 7 year-old that would LOVE to see them!!! We will still try to see Jake while we are at Hollywood Studios, but that would have been a nice surprise for them.

  • Jake and the Neverland Pirates is a really cute show.

  • This is such a great idea to bring more of this type of entertainment to DTD! And I am a big fan of Jake and the Nevr. Land Pirates!

  • Will they be announcing any other concerts dates or is it just hit or miss if you get to see them?

  • I would LOVE to see them come again in September ! We will be there from 9/1-9/8. My 3.5 year old daughter just LOVES them. It would mean the world to see them LIVE !!
