It’s hard to believe kids are already heading back to school or will be within the next month. Where did the time go? Which means one thing, Halloween is right around the corner. That’s why in the coming weeks fellow Disney Parks Blog author Steven Miller and I will be sharing some of the many “tricks” and “treats” that we have up our sleeves this year, as we debut some of the new Halloween merchandise set to hit store shelves at both the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.

Before we share all of these “boo-tiful” new items with you, here’s a quick reminder about some things to keep on your radar. If you are looking to scare up some fun this Halloween, then Mickey’s Halloween Party is the ticket. What better way to celebrate the season than to trick-or-treat throughout the ultimate Disney neighborhood, view Halloween Screams fireworks spectacular, meet some of your favorite Disney characters decked out in festive Halloween attire and enjoy many of your favorite Disneyland park attractions? The best part is – if you buy early, you save. Where will I be? First in line for Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, of course.

Join Jack's Crew and Become a Pirate or Pirate Princess at The Pirates League at Disneyland Park for Halloween

With The Happiest Place on Earth about to get a little spookier, there’s only one question that remains … what look should you dress up as this year? And there’s no better place to start than with a transformation, especially for those of you thinking about becoming a Pirate or Pirate Princess. If you haven’t joined Jack’s crew yet, it’s time to climb aboard because The Pirates League ship has set sail. Reservations opened today! Of course, for our little princesses and valiant knights, Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is brewing up something a little more be’witch’ing, while Studio Disney 365 is sure to give you a case of “Night Fright.”

Tip: Reservations for transformations at these Disneyland Resort locations book up fast, especially on Mickey’s Halloween Party nights, so don’t wait! Call now at 714-781-STYLE (714-781-7895)! For our fans at the Walt Disney World Resort, now’s the time to make reservations for your Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique (407-WDW-STYLE or 407-939-7895) and The Pirates League (407-WDW-CREW or 407-939-2739) experiences, too!

What other Halloween costumes and goodies are coming your way this season? I guess you’ll have to wait and see … it will be a ghoulish delight!

  • Hello Michelle!
We loved Mickey’s Not So Scarry Halloween Party. As for a costume, not a Pirate, but a ruggedly handsome writer that lives in New York, of course.

  • wow its a long way off to Halloweentime. lots can happen in August and September;)

  • That is so awesome, Tom! And the fact that Tiffany and her family go very year is too! I know I would feel the same way because whenever we go to the Parks I feel like a kid again! We live in Ohio and the kids are in school around Halloween so it’s difficult to get down to Orlando. We were just there in June right after school let out and had a blast! Maybe it will work out for us one year but if not, I will keep in mind that my wife and I can just be “Big Kids” on our own and have some trick or treat Magic with Mickey!

  • We made this a family tradition to go every year. So excited for this year! I love seeing the transformation from the park in the day to night.

  • David, my wife and I are both 28, and we went Trick or Treating last October at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. It was by far, the most fun I have ever had…it really is like being a kid again!

  • Perfect timing, Michelle! I cant wait for more posts from you and Steven on all the spooky happenings to treat us at the Disney Parks! Our family begins to look forward to crisp fall weather and Happy Haunts as August starts to wane. The entire month of October is a Spooktacular celebration, but not so scary. Obviously, Disney themes like the Haunted Mansion and Mickey pumpkin heads abound! Our wish is to make it to Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party before tbe kids are past trick or treat age. Thanks for all the updates!

  • I meant Princess!

  • We are coming to Mickey’s not so scary Halloween party for the first time this September, so excited! Now to decide, Pirate or Ptincess??? =0)

  • Hello!

I´d like to confirm if it is possible to see Flynn Rider at MNSSHP. I heard that he makes appereances at special events. I have a 3 years old who really wants to meet him, but I´d only go to the even so she can meet him. Is there a way we can confirm his presence?

    Many thanks!
