With the grand reveal of New Fantasyland only a few days away, I thought a look back at the articles discussing merchandise would be helpful for those planning a visit to Magic Kingdom Park.

The Pins of New Fantasyland

I gave you a first look at the pins we created for New Fantasyland back in September. As a reminder, we will be holding a special pin release party on December 6 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort Convention Center, Room J. There will not be any pins released at Magic Kingdom Park on December 6, as all quantities of items will be released at the party.

Grand Reveal Collection

Guests visiting Magic Kingdom Park on December 6 will find a small assortment of commemorative shirts (available all day), D-Tech On Demand iPhone cases and other items. The shirts and the Disney Princess cases for the iPhone will also be available from December 6-9 at http://www.DisneyStore.com/NewFantasyland.

Bonjour! Village Gifts

In October, I invited you to say “hello” to Bonjour! Village Gifts, which is a great place for all things from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast.” We’ve added a few new items since that article was first published including dishware, coffee mugs and apparel. Look for some additional collectible items in this location coming in 2013.

Under The Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid Merchandise

I spoke with Carla Lewandowski, Senior Franchise and Brand Manager with Disney Theme Park Merchandise, about new merchandise at Sir Mickey’s, located in Fantasyland. The location also carries Disney Princess shirts that would be perfect for December 6 (as my fellow Disney Parks Blog author Michelle Stepney recently shared in this Disney Style Snapshot article).

Big Top Souvenirs in Storybook Circus

One of my favorite additions to New Fantasyland is Big Top Souvenirs located in the Storybook Circus area. This beautifully detailed merchandise location contains a variety of items including things inspired by Walt Disney’s “Dumbo.” Be sure to try the fresh caramel corn, a delicious New Fantasyland cupcake or a refreshing Goofy’s Glacier at Big Top Treats.

Thank you so much for this article! I am curious about the price of the 2 LE prints. Also, I noticed there are Extra Magic Hours on Thursday morning. Will the merchandise be available at 8am or 9am? How will that work?

Adult sized princess shirts! And I see both of my favorites up there. That’s very exciting, since I wasn’t expecting Aurora to get any merchandise. Thank you Disney Theme Park Merchandise team!

And thank you, Steven, for another great post!

Hi Steven,

Do you know if there will be any stylized/couture designs like these for the following characters/movies:

Merida (heavy Celtic pattern)
Aladdin
Maleficent
Belle (“I want adventure in the great wide somewhere…” scene)
Flora, Fauna, & Merriweather
Jaq & Gus

There are lots of Maleficent ones now, the Disney Villains have their own clothing line now I think

Hi Steven -

There is a request from both shoppers and Disney World Merchandise Phone Operators to include SKU numbers with these items that you post on the blog. I called and tried to order the Cinderella birds top shown above, and they couldn’t find it anywhere in the system even though it is available in the parks. They said without SKUs it’s really hard to find exactly what the blog readers are looking for.
