Disney California Adventure park regulars are raving about DCA Today, the official source for in-park updates and information. Since the park’s grand reopening this summer, DCA Today has answered questions and provided real-time tips to park guests via their favorite social networks. Many have asked about the same service for Disneyland park, and I’m excited to tell you that Disneyland Today is launching…well, today!
@DisneylandToday Offers Live In-Park Updates on Twitter

While at the resort, guests can follow Disneyland Today on Facebook or @DisneylandToday on Twitter to receive live park updates and information on their mobile devices. The Disneyland Today team will respond to guest questions, create special surprises and assist with service concerns. This popular, expanded program joins the Disney Parks Blog, the Disneyland Resort Facebook pages and the official @Disneyland Twitter feed to offer up-to-the-minute news and information about the Disneyland Resort.

  • Way to go, Disney! I’m visiting the park this weekend and can’t wait to see what happens!

  • Loved getting a shout out on DCA today during my visit in July. Can’t wait to use this during our next trip to Disneyland!

  • Can haz EpcotToday…?

  • I started to really enjoy the DCAToday version of this towards the end of summer. It’s really done in a fun yet professional way. Good news it’s expanding over to Disneyland too. Way to go Disneyland Resort!

  • When I was there in late August, I was happy to see DCAToday retweet on my pictures of the August Blue Moon over DCA (I do night sky photography). I make sure to watch that twitter feed when I am in the park!

  • Nice! On a recent trip to DCA the interaction with the twitter account really added a nice touch … it’s not just being used for broadcasting but really does provide an interactive experience, acknowledging check-ins, comments, and achievements (love my personalized Piston Cup Trophy pic). Glad to see it expanding and hope it makes its way to WDW as well.

  • I hope you guys will consider adding some Foursquare local updates to the DCA Today and Disneyland Today posts (WDW just started experimenting with them last week). They seem like a perfect way to get targeted information about specific attractions at the time they’re needed most.

  • Are there plans to bring this idea to Walt Disney World?

  • Being the person behind one of those Twitter accounts would be a dream job! Meeting guests in the parks, answering questions and providing exceptional customer service through social media… what’s not to love? Hoping that these Twitter accounts come to the Orlando parks.
