The Creative Entertainment team has been hard at work, getting the latest version of Disney Junior – Live on Stage! ready for its debut at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This update to the popular show, features new segments with Disney Junior hits “Doc McStuffins” and “Sofia the First,” along with returning stories from “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” and “Jake and the Never Land Pirates.”

“Children will adore seeing their newest friends from Disney Junior onstage in our show,” said Elissa Hogan, Creative Director for Disney Junior – Live on Stage! “We really bring those characters to life. There’s great music. There are great stories, and there are adventures children really get to be a part of.”
The new Disney Junior – Live on Stage! opens this Friday, February 15, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and comes to Disney California Adventure park March 22.

My youngest granddaughter will be so excited when she gets to see Sophia and Jake. She is crazy about Sophia. This will really add to her trip. Now if we can just find a meal with her; that will put the icing on the cake.
We were lucky enough to be at Hollywood Studios this day and actually caught it! They did a GREAT job (as always) and my daughter loved it. She was so excited to see all her favorite Disney Jr characters!
So exicted. I postponted a trip in January just for this. We will be in the World on March 15th.

Awwww, we were just there last month for my Sophia’s 5th birthday. Now I know why the Disney Jr. Live show was closed. Guess we will have to back when we can and catch it next time 🙂
Excited we are going in June and my girls will be able to see their favorite shows!!!
Disney Junior was one of our girls’ favorite things when we went to WDW in ’10 and ’11. Our now 5-year old just freaked when she heard the addition of Doc McStuffins and our 7-year old, while getting a little old for this attraction, suddenly is looking forward to this again for our April trip because of the Sofia the 1st addition (partly because her name is also “Sofia” and spelled the same way). Great job keeping this fresh!

Do you know if they will introduce Doc or Sofia at the Hollywood and Vine dining? It seems like they do a great job updating those characters as well!
It wasn’t as if my little girl didn’t love it already, but now I am sure she will love it even more!
