posted on March 8th, 2013 by Erin Glover, Editorial Content Director, Disneyland Resort

It’s finally here – we’ve followed the Yellow Brick Road all the way to opening day for “Oz The Great and Powerful.” For a few weeks, Disney California Adventure park guests have had the chance to view an Exclusive 4D Sneak Peek of the new film, hosted by star Zach Braff who plays both Frank (in the “real world” of Kansas) and Finley (in the wonderful land of Oz).

Cool! I didn’t realize that Braff himself recorded the actual introduction for the 4D sneak peek. :)

I watched the sneak peek 6 times and loved it every time. Then, I feared that my expectations were so high that I might not like the actual film. But, I went to the advance screening at the El Capitan on Thursday night (where Zac Braff and James Franco appeared) and loved the movie even more! It’s a great sneak peek at Disney California Adventure and I hope it helps draw in more and more people to the movie.

I just wish you had Oz, the Three Witches, Finley and China Girl wandering around as characters! How exciting would that be!

All these sneak peaks keep making me want to see the movie more and more! Also, Erin, remember when you told us about the update at the Beast’s Library in California Adventure Park? My daughters have been dying to know whether or not the update will be made in Walt Disney World and if so, when!

Hi Jill – I’m sorry but I do not have an update to share with you at this time. Keep checking back!
