Celebrating Easter Traditions at Disney Parks
How does your family celebrate the Easter holiday? Maybe you get dressed in your Sunday best for Easter service, or maybe you decorate eggs and have an egg hunt. I bet some of you even see the Easter Bunny on Easter morning. Well here at the Disney Parks, we’re big on tradition, and our goal every holiday is to make you feel right at home at the most magical place on earth. We make this all possible by making your families’ traditions come to life here at our Disney Parks.

Did you know there are Easter activities and events all around property for guests staying at the Walt Disney World Resort or visiting the parks? Experiences such as: Easter services, Easter-themed arts and crafts, games, Easter egg hunts, special meet-and-greets and yes, you can even meet Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny in Town Square on Main Street, U.S.A., at the Magic Kingdom Park now through March 30. For more information on the Easter offerings at your resort, simply contact your guest concierge for specific details.

But, if you’re looking for a “home away from home” family experience that you can enjoy in the comfort of your room at Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort, Disney Floral & Gifts created something special just for you. Check this out. It’s called, Easter Family Fun.

What’s included? Quite a few things that just may transform your current holiday traditions into a Disney memory. For example, there’s an Easter cookie decorating kit so you don’t miss out on coloring Easter eggs. There’s also a special “duck hunt” you can set up in your resort room, approved by Donald of course. They also sweetened the gift with a variety of traditional holiday goodies and Disney treats. And, instead of dressing in fancy attire and Easter bonnets, they included two pair of Mickey ears to wear into the parks. Interested in picturing holiday memories for years to come? Then you’ll like the Easter frame they tucked inside – and get this, they featured a QR code on the art insert of the frame that connects you to a new Disney website that shares easy to make crafts, recipes and activities for the family.

  • It says the Easter Bunny will be available to meet now thru the 30th. Will they be available to meet on the day of Easter the 31st?

  • Hi Jean!

Thanks for the information! Where can I find out where and what time Easter Mass is being celebrated at the Disney Parks? My family will be there for the holiday but do not want to miss Mass. Thanks!
