When does the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure open on May 24th?

Erin Glover on May 20th, 2013 at 2:34 pm

Mickey & Friends parking structure will open at 5 a.m. on May 24.

2

Jeremy on May 20th, 2013 at 1:43 pm

If people aren’t camping out at 10:00pm the night before and just arrive at park opening on the 24th, do they still have to park at Garden Walk/Pumba or will Mickey & Friends be open on the 24th?

Erin Glover on May 20th, 2013 at 2:35 pm

Jeremy – You may park in Mickey & Friends parking structure, which will open at 5 a.m. on May 24.

3

Steven from FL on May 20th, 2013 at 1:50 pm

Will this also apply to WDW in Orlando as well?

Erin Glover on May 20th, 2013 at 2:27 pm

Steven – This information applies to the Disneyland Resort only.

Gregory on May 20th, 2013 at 1:59 pm

No hours on May 25 are mentioned for Radiator Springs Racers and “a bug’s land”. Does that mean that they will be closed to all after Grad Nite ends Saturday at 3AM?

Erin Glover on May 20th, 2013 at 2:28 pm

That is correct, Gregory. Radiator Springs Racers and “a bug’s land” will not reopen after Grad Nite concludes at 3:30 am.

5

Theresa on May 20th, 2013 at 2:02 pm

Thank you for the information! At what time can we start parking at Garden Walk/Pumbaa on Thursday night?

6

Joe on May 20th, 2013 at 2:12 pm

So after 3:30 a.m., Cars Land, Paradise Pier, Pacific Wharf and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will be available again to all guests?

Erin Glover on May 20th, 2013 at 2:29 pm

Yes, but please be aware that Radiator Springs Racers will not be available at that time.

7

Gregory on May 20th, 2013 at 2:33 pm

Thanks0 I have one more question : Other than Radiator Springs Racers, will the rest of Carlsand open at 6AM on May 24?

Erin Glover on May 20th, 2013 at 2:36 pm

Yes, the rest of the area will be available at that time.

8

Karen on May 20th, 2013 at 2:39 pm

Can we buy park tickets in advance online or do we need to wait for 3:00am on the 24th for a special ticket?

Erin Glover on May 20th, 2013 at 2:48 pm

No special ticket is required, and it’s a good idea to purchase your ticket online at Disneyland.com/tickets

Jeff from CA on May 20th, 2013 at 3:06 pm

Erin,
If we are arriving for our daily visit on Thursday and not leaving until Sat is there a way that we can get the special Carpool Buttons since we will already be parked on Thursday, but are carpooling?

Erin Glover on May 20th, 2013 at 4:04 pm

Hi Jeff! Unfortunately this offer is only available during the times listed.

10

Sydney on May 20th, 2013 at 3:21 pm

Besides the special Carpool button for annual passholders, will there be a special button commemorating the day in the parks like it was done on Leap Day last year?

I am so excited!

11

William on May 20th, 2013 at 3:27 pm

Aww I’m an AP, but I’ll be arriving earlier between 2 and 3 a.m. so no free button for me, but it’s all good. I’m excited either way!! 4 Days!!!!

Amanda on May 20th, 2013 at 5:15 pm

What time will DCA stop serving alcohol for the day?

16

Tiara on May 20th, 2013 at 5:30 pm

just to confirm, the paragraph in quotes below means people there for the “Monstrous All-Nighter” are absolutely NOT allowed in Cars Land, Paradise Pier, Pacific Wharf and Twilight Zone between 10:15pm and 3:30am? But everything else is free to roam, unless otherwise stated?

“Cars Land, Paradise Pier, Pacific Wharf and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will be available exclusively to Grad Nite guests from as early as 10:15 p.m. (May 24) until 3:30 a.m. (May 25).”

Thank you

Erin Glover on May 20th, 2013 at 9:14 pm

That is correct, Tiara, and please also note that “a bug’s land” will not be available after 10:15 pm as well.

17

Amanda from CA on May 20th, 2013 at 6:31 pm

How will lockers work? If we arrive at 10 p.m. on the 24th and get a locker outside the gates, will that locker stay valid until 6 a.m. on the 25th? Thanks!

18

Amanda from CA on May 20th, 2013 at 6:32 pm

Sorry, correction if we arrive at 10 p.m. on the 23rd, will our lockers stay valid from 5/23 10 p.m. tuntil 5/25 6 a.m.?

19

Camille on May 20th, 2013 at 7:08 pm

If there is only 2 people total in my party, will we still be able to get a Carpool special button on the 24th?

Erin Glover on May 20th, 2013 at 9:15 pm

I’m sorry, Camille. The details state that there must be at least three people in the car.

20

Andie on May 20th, 2013 at 9:53 pm

I am SO excited!!!

21

On the Grad Nites held thus far, the Mad T Party has only been serving “Mocktails,” and has left all alcohol off the menu. Will this policy be in place for the All-Nighter T Party as well?

Erin Glover on May 21st, 2013 at 1:53 pm

That is correct – alcohol will not be served at Mad T Party.

23

Krista – There may be different show times for experiences in the parks that day. Be sure to check the Entertainment Times Guide upon arrival.

26

Dinah on May 21st, 2013 at 4:19 am

Since it looks like there was a change to the original post above, I just want to confirm…the garages/lots participating in the free button open at 5am, but the buttons won’t be distributed until 6am? Thanks for the info!

Erin Glover on May 21st, 2013 at 1:57 pm

Sorry about that, Dinah. Parking will be available at the Anaheim GardenWalk parking area beginning at 9:30 pm, with overflow parking at the Pumbaa Lot. Remember that shuttle service begins at 8 am on May 24. The Mickey & Friends Parking structure and Toy Story Lot will be open and begin shuttle service at 5 am. The button distribution begins at 6 am.

If parks reach their capacity will be able to park hop?

30

Ariane on May 21st, 2013 at 3:36 pm

Hello, if the park reaches capacity will we be able to park hop from one park to the other? Or would we have to stay in one of the parks so we dont get kicked out?

31

Tanya on May 21st, 2013 at 4:48 pm

Will “Cars Land, Paradise Pier, Pacific Wharf and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror that will be available exclusively to Grad Nite guests from as early as 10:15 p.m. (May 24) until 3:30 a.m. (May 25)” be available to the rest of the public after 3:30 a.m.? And if so, how long will those areas be open?

I ask because our group plan to do other things but will want to go to those areas. Thanks!

Yes – Cars Land, Paradise Pier, Pacific Wharf and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will reopen at 3:30 am and will remain open until 6 am.

Hi Erin,
If you plan to camp out and park at the Anaheim Garden Walk are you subject to their standard parking rates or Disneyland’s $15 parking fee?
