It’s summertime, and you know what that means! It’s time to party! Here are the events happening this July at the Disneyland Resort that I consider too cool for school, know will keep you cool, or will just make you look cool.

July 13: Fans of HARVEYS unite! This next collection will have you saying … “Love You To Pieces!” … which is the actual title of the newest HARVEYS for Disney Couture Seatbeltbag collection debuting at the Disneyland Resort. Meet Dana and Melanie Harvey during a special signing from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Disney Vault 28 in the Downtown Disney District. Learn more here.

There are so many great things for July, but before I go, I just want to remind you of a couple of things.

June 29: The launch date for the next collection from Beautifully Disney, titled Unlock the Spell, is official! Fellow author Erin Catalano will be sharing all of the details about this special release, including a special mini-makeover experience taking place from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Disney Vault 28 in the Downtown Disney District. Learn more here.

June 30: A little birdie told me the new name for the exhibit opening in The Disney Gallery on Main Street, U.S.A., is “Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Realms, Celebrating 50 Years of Enchantment.” So make sure you fly by to see the newest pieces on display from Walt Disney Imagineering, as well as a selection of original and limited-edition artwork from Disney-inspired artists. You may recall that the Disneyana Shop closed its doors a couple of months ago; however, it has made its way down the street and will be taking up residence in the Bank of Main Street Building on July 1.

Summer is flying by, so be sure to stop by for some fun in the sun and enjoy all that is being offered at the Disneyland Resort!

Comments

  • Any chance I can purchase Noah’s artwork online? In particular, the “Hard Tail Adventure” piece. I don’t live in the area and can’t be here in person.

    • Robert, unfortunately it will not be available online as of right now. I would recommend calling our Disney Merchandise Guest Services number at 877-560-6477 or e-mail them at merchandiseguestservices@disney.go.com in the days following the event to inquire about remaining quantities.

  • Hey Jennifer! The tote featured above will be $168. There will definitely be other silhouettes and styles available, but they will vary from this particular look.

  • What will the price be for the Harvey’s bag pictured above and will it be available in other styles?

  • Any merchandise events happening in WDW in July?? Thanks!

  • “50 Tikis in the image by Daniel Samakow.” Which one is it? or is there a link to view it in full screen?

    • Louise! It’s actually the fourth image over. We will have it posted in the next day or so on http://www.ArtofDisneyParks.com. So be sure to check it out.

  • How come the Tiki Room 50th merchandise event didn’t make the June or July Disneyland event summary!? 🙂

For that event, will the SHAG deluxe prints and coasters be available online afterwards? Or, if I wanted to call, would I contact Merchandise Guest Services or Events??

    Thanks!!

    • Hi Jonathan! The reason I didn’t include the Tiki Room 50th Merchandise event in the June or July snapshot was simply because the event has been sold out for over a month. I didn’t want anyone to be discouraged if they were unable to attend or buy the merchandise. However, I do have good news for you! Any remaining merchandise from the event will be available starting June 30 at the Disneyana Shop (previously The Disney Gallery), so items will be available to purchase via Disney Merchandise Guest Services.

  • Is there more than one design in the Harvey’s bags being released?

    • Heather, you know Harveys so well! There are different styles and silhouettes available. Look for the others to feature icons that best represent Mickey and Minnie Mouse including shoes, bows, yellow-button red pants, gloves, etc.

  • Michele

Do you know if the Harvey’s bags will be available at Disney
World as well and what date? Thanks

    • Hi Kelli! I would recommend checking at Tren-D at the Walt Disney World Resort shortly after the initial release of the bag here on the west coast. I believe they will be carrying it. If not, then definitely make sure to give Disney Merchandise Guest Services a call so that you can order one.
