There is nothing like riding Under the Sea, then going to meet the mermaid herself afterward! The ride is so wonderfully immersive (you totally feel a part of the story), and getting to chat with Ariel right after you get off just caps off the experience perfectly!

I have a trip coming up in September and I am looking forward to seeing this attraction! The Little Mermaid was a huge part of my childhood and I will probably be more excited than my kids to be able to see Eric’s castle!

The ride is great, but MKs castle and ride queue are so terrific. I’m sure it will be a very busy area once the Mine Ride opens up, but right now this is such a peaceful area in the park especially lovely at night all lit up. It’s a great place to grab a snack from Gaston’s and just relax. Next time you’re there take time to enjoy the sounds of the waterfall and the tropical decor.

My favorite part when I visited Under the Sea this past December was how “Whale of a Tale” was one of the songs playing in the queue. A nice shout out to former attraction 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. I was singing “I swear by my tattoo!” all the way until I hopped into the seashell.

I visited in April of this year. I rode this ride and loved it. It really does take you “into the movie”. You can not help but smile while riding. I agree with Jennie. This area of the park is so peaceful at night. This will be one attraction I will make sure to see on every visit.
