One year ago tomorrow, we said “Welcome to Radiator Springs!” as the first guests cruised down Route 66 in Cars Land. June 15, 2012, was a big day for Disney California Adventure park as it celebrated not only its grand reopening, but the addition of this entirely new land. Let’s celebrate by hearing from some of you – our Disney California Adventure park guests – telling us about your favorite parts of Cars Land.

Now it’s your turn! What do you love most about Cars Land? Tell us in the comments!

  • Hi Erin,

Cars land is one of the most amazing changes we’ve ever seen at any Disney Park! The Ornament Valley Range is destined to become one of Disney’s most well-known icons! Thank you to all the trade, craft, and artistic people that made it happen!

  • I got engaged in the middle of Cars Land a couple months after it opened with the help of Disney’s magic makers. Amazing amazing event. Hundreds of Disney pins, a surprise proposal and a Yes! All in a day’s work.

  • Cars Land is fantastic! I love the fact that you can visit the actual town from the movie, with all the details. The rides are awesome, and the food is great! I love eating at Flo’s V8 Cafe.

  • Radiator Springs Racers is the ultimate attraction! It is part dark ride, part thrill ride and is a hit with my entire family! We also LOVE to eat any meal at Flo’s V-8 Cafe!!! Such tasty food! We love Cars Land!!!

  • I was there! Got to the esplanade around 3:30am and got in the line. We played card games and watch Cars on an iPad. Stayed until midnight. Long day, but totally worth it. Cars Land is my favorite land so far!
