A Chilly Bucket of Deliciousness at Disney Water Parks

posted on July 1st, 2013 by Pam Brandon, Disney Parks Food Writer

July is National Ice Cream Month, the perfect excuse for indulging (and maybe sharing) a favorite frozen confection. You can indulge and share the generous Sand Pail ice cream bucket you’ll find at IC Expeditions at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and Happy Landings and Snack Shack at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park at Walt Disney World Resort.

Yes, you probably will be in a bathing suit so that might make it easier to share this extravaganza – chocolate and vanilla soft-serve ice cream topped with crunchy chips of waffles cone, cookie pieces, sprinkles, hot fudge, caramel sauce, strawberry sauce, whipped cream and a cherry. Ask for extra spoons.

When it’s all gone, the bucket and shovel are perfect for building castles in the sand.

Cost is $9.99. The dessert isn’t on the Disney Dining Plan.

This looks like the perfect summer treat! Too pricey though!

It’s not too expensive if you share it & believe me – you WILL have to share it! Not even two people can eat all of it! It topped our day at Typhoon Lagoon recently!

Looks delicious! Looks like the perfect treat to celebrate my daughters’ and husband’s birthdays this week.
