posted on July 2nd, 2013 by Shawn Slater, Communications Manager, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Creative Entertainment

It’s Independence Week, and the Disney Parks in the U.S. are celebrating with some Limited Time Magic and star-spangled salutes to America in honor of our nation’s 237th birthday.

If you’re visiting Walt Disney World Resort this week, here’s some of what you can look forward to:

Hey Shawn…thanks for the info! I’m a WDW CM and I’m hoping you can tell me where all the limited time food items are located….I know where to get the Lone Ranger root beer boot mug at Pecos Bills, but where are the apple pie cupcakes, the strawberry shortcake, etc.
Thanks!

Will Wishes still be played at the Magic Kingdom on July 6th? I’ll be there this date and I love Wishes!!

Leonilda – Through July 7, our nightly fireworks spectacular at Magic Kingdom will be Disney’s Celebrate America! Wishes returns Monday, July 8, at 10 p.m. Wishes is a terrific show, but I think you’ll also really enjoy the Independence Day show, with extra fireworks launched from locations around the park. It’s epic!

Great show, we watched from our balcony at the Contemporary. People started camping spots at 4pm for the show!
