Limited Time Magic: Matterhorn Macaroon at Edelweiss Snacks at Disneyland Park

posted on July 9th, 2013 by Pam Brandon, Disney Parks Food Writer

The iconic Matterhorn joins the “Limited Time Magic” fun July 8-14 with music and mountain climbers for fun photo ops.

Also, be sure to pick up a Matterhorn Macaroon available for a limited time at Edelweiss Snacks for a little sweetness that looks like the real thing – golden coconut topped with white chocolate for that “snow-covered” Matterhorn effect. Nibble these light little cakes and sing along with Happy Hans and his strapping son, Erik, as they celebrate with delightful Alpine melodies. Ah, this is classic Disneyland park fun.

Cost for a macaroon is $1.99.

OMG! NEED ONE NOW! I love their Macaroons anyway and this one looks like it would go perfect with my after lunch cup of coffee.

“Snack”?????????? No, no, no. Something this delightful and mountainous deserves a MUCH better name than “snack”……..How about “Avalanche of Snowy Sweetness”? Too long? How about “Yodel-licous”? Anybody else got a better description?

Stephanie, The macaroons are usually for sale at Jolly Holiday during the rest of the year — and they are yummy!

Limited Time Magic? You mean it’ll be offered at that location for a limited time? Or are they doing away with it for good? That’s one of my favorite treats and I don’t want to lose it after the 14th. °o°
