New Fantasyland Offers New Vantage Point for Fourth of July Fireworks

posted on July 2nd, 2013 by Thomas Smith, Editorial Content Director, Disney Parks

We’ve kicked off our weeklong “Limited Time Magic” performances of “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” at Magic Kingdom Park. And this year, there’s a new, wonderful vantage point to watch our Fourth of July fireworks spectacular – New Fantasyland. We’ve captured the first night of our Independence Week celebration just as you’d experience it in New Fantasyland.

There’s nothing like seeing our fireworks in person, so visit this week and let us know if New Fantasyland is your new favorite place to watch Fourth of July fireworks at the Walt Disney World Resort.

We ate at Be Our Guest two Wed. ago and finished just in time for the fireworks. We loved being in the middle of the show. We found a spot near the new castle walls. I captured some wonderful memories with the turrets adding perspective. We also had our best view of Tinker Bell ever!!!

Disney puts on the most amazing fireworks displays. They have an amazing team of people that put this together. I am not able to see the 4th of July fireworks, but will be at WDW in September and I can not wait to watch the fireworks from the New Fantasyland.

Beautiful! Where in the new Fantasyland were you standing, to capture this fantastic unobstructed video?
