Here’s a look at 13 Terrifying Treats that are bound to make this “spirited” season a bit more thrilling.

This first treat is a “mirror” image of what I showed you just a few weeks ago. From what I hear, this skull caramel apple is covered in white chocolate, taking on the look of a particular “poisoned apple” and is by far the tastiest treat of them all.

Can you guess “witch” apple I love the best? Be sure to try the colorful Halloween Minnie apple, which has been adorned purple chocolate witch hat. Keep an eye out, the apple bears a striking similarity to the costume worn my Minnie herself at Halloween Carnival at the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree.

  • We were there last weekend. No pumpkin fudge available anywhere. The lady behind the counter said they hardly make any anymore. Why advertise on this blog if it isn’t available?

    • Gale, I’m so sorry to hear that you were told that. Our pumpkin fudge and brittle are actually some of our top items and sell out rather quickly. While we may have waiting periods for it to return to the selling case or come back in stock, it is something that we are carrying.

  • Is the pumpkin fudge available in Epcot or at WDW’s Downtown Disney?
Will it be available between Halloween and Thanksgiving?

    • Hi Crissy! Great news! You can definitely add the pumpkin fudge to your list the next time you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. Keep an eye out for it in our candy kitchens anytime between now and Thanksgiving.

  • I just seen The “Poison Apple” Caramel Apple in Downtown Disney next to the Movie theater. If you ask, they will make them for you it only takes about ten minutes. If they are in Downtown Disney it is safe to say they are in the parks as well. What a lot of people do not know is the cast members will slice the apples for you. It’s a lot easier to eat the apples that way then off the stick, esp. if you have two people eating the same apple. They are more then happy to do it, and will give you a container to place the sliced apple in.

I was told to call in advance at my restaurant of choice to see if they have a menu or will alter a dish if you have a need for alternative allergy free ingredients in your meal. I have never had a negative or a no for an answer yet. It is more like “let’s see what we can do to make your experience better” answer.

  • I am also interested in what allergy free options are available…Anything gluten-free? Thanks!

    • @Jackie and @Heather – Thank you for your interest in our candy production offerings and making the inquiry regarding allergy friendly options. The teams contiue to look for ways to include such items, however just so you know, we currently use nuts and other common ingredients that can be classified as allergens in our production facilities, so none of our candy treats can be claimed as allergy friendly or allergen free. Certainly know that should an item cross my path that is, I will post about it here on the Disney Parks Blog.

  • Do they do phone orders and ship out to New Jersey?

    • Hi Dina! Unfortunately they don’t ship the consumable items. I hope you are able to visit one of our Disney Parks soon and delight in some of the treats being offered.

  • Everytime I check Marceline’s For The “Poison Apple” Caramel Apple it is never there! Are they only offering that apple inside the parks?

    • Samantha, you should find that at all of our candy kitchen locations.

A huge thanks to @Deborah on her post below. I appreciate you jumping in and letting Samantha and all know where you saw the apples being offered.

  • And it’s a lot of fun to stand outside the window in Downtown Disney (DLR) and watch them make the apples. They are so talented and the assembly line they have is pretty awesome. Plus you get to see all of the different styles at once.

    • That’s one of my favorite things to watch as well. Our candy makers are pretty incredible.

  • I’ve tired the spider cake pops. They’re really good!

  • Will there be any allergy friendly offerings?

    • Great question Heather! I’m looking into it.

  • So glad that pumpkin fudge is back. With a pregnant wife, I make weekly trips to Disneyland to meet her Pumpkin fudge cravings. The stuff is delicious.
